Kev

Very basic camping in small secluded garden at rear of house in beach suburb. Access to indoor facilities when resident is home. There is also an outdoor composting toilet and cold water taps available at all times. We have an outdoor fire-heated bath.
We are a few minutes walk from the beach and from bus routes into the central city. 20-30 minutes walk along the beach to public library, banks, cafes, shops and supermarket.
Clothing optional (if you want)
Camping available during NZ summer: December - March. Contact for further info on availability.

Despite the damage from the devastating earthquakes of 2010 and 2011 Christchurch is still a beautiful city well worth visiting. There is much to see and do with many free activities and events over the summer. Lonely Planet has ranked Christchurch at #6 in the Top 10 Cities for 2013.
