Upon arrival we were immediately warmly welcomed by the host, after a short tour we were able to view our accommodation for the night. The gypsy wagon is very nicely decorated, every detail has been thought of. Beds are comfortable. There is a lot to do at the campsite. Especially for children, there is a playground, there are different animals and there are also activities. The area is also nice for walking or cycling. There is a shared kitchen and sitting area in a greenhouse. This is a pleasant meeting place for all camping guests. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy.
All in all a very cozy and nice campsite, where we had a great time!

Very nice campsite. Many activities for children are provided. The Orangery is a real plus to enjoy reading a book or getting to know people!
How was the contact with the host?
Super friendly people who are ready every day with a team to maintain the animals and the campsite.
Tips for new guests?
When it rains, the meadow can be a bit wet. Best to bring an extra pair of shoes so you don't get wet feet :)

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS Camping Luna “de Rolke”
CAMPING TERRAIN
We are a small-scale campsite. We are also affiliated with “Bijzonderecamping.nl” and we offer a nice place for our guests. We ask that you take care of our campsite out of respect for each other, our animals and our living environment. We run the campsite together with our daytime activities.
“Sustainability means for our recovery of our living environment”
Our showers work with solar collectors and rainwater is collected. In addition, we separate our waste and make briquettes from donkey and horse manure to stoke the stove.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Our reception is open between 9 am and 5 pm, but we are not always present. It is also a self service reception. You can get information and register upon arrival. Payments can be made on the day of departure between 12 and 2 pm at the reception or via the qr code on the board at the reception next to the price list.
Camping
Upon arrival you can find a spot yourself, please report first and fill in a form so that we know you are there. Then we'll come over.
Arrival is in principle from 12 noon on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the time of departure is no later than 2 pm if we need the places. Staying a little longer if possible is no problem for us.
On departure we expect you to leave everything neat and reasonably clean. The camping spot is clean, you can clean up wood and charcoal and leave it at the waste bins / ashtrays.
AMENDMENTS
If you want to change a booking, data or appointment, we ask you to indicate this in good time. This can be done by e-mail or by telephone.
PAYMENTS
The costs for camping can be paid upon departure, in the morning between 12-2 pm at the reception. We prefer to receive payments via QR, but pin / payment card or cash is possible on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
There is no deposit for camping.
Used items on the campsite can be paid upon departure.
CANCELLATIONS
We do not charge any costs for canceling when camping. However, we would like to hear in good time if you are unable to come, so that we can give the spot to someone else.
NO SHOW (do not appear)
If you have not appeared on the day of arrival and have not communicated anything, we will charge at least the costs for that first night. We will be in touch to discuss the booking. If there is no (counter) reaction until the day of departure, we will charge all costs for the stay.
LIABILITY
You undertake your holiday at your own risk. All costs resulting from damage to the site or an accommodation caused by the visitor will be borne by the visitor. We cannot accept any liability for damage or injury caused to the visitor(s), regardless of the cause of this damage or injury. Nor are we liable for the loss, theft or damage of property, including money. We advise you to take out travel insurance.
PARKING AND VEHICLES
We have a natural and child-friendly terrain. Cars are therefore not allowed on the property. You can only bring your belongings to your place upon arrival and departure. You can park in the parking lot at the reception and wood/waste shed. Please drive slowly with all vehicles and bicycles and take chilling people and children into account!
PEACE AND QUIET
Please be considerate of the other guests. Making music is only allowed with acoustic instruments. Do you want to listen to the radio or listen to music, that is only possible if others cannot hear it or can disturb it. After 22:00 it must be whisper quiet on the site, so that everyone can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
FIRE, WOOD and BBQ
If you want, you can make a fire at your camping spot, always do this responsibly. Please do not burn in a fire pit, but in a fire bowl, because of falling charcoal. Also make sure to protect the turf from the heat of the fire bowl. Light a good hot fire and prevent smoke development. Don't be a nuisance to your neighbours.
We have wood in stock and you can buy, split and chop it from us. (use wood, € 10, = per 6 blocks) Be careful and attentive when chopping wood. Children may only chop wood under supervision. For children there is a special wood splitter, with hammer instead of axe. It is forbidden to chop wood after consuming alcohol.
We also make our own horse manure briquettes, which are available at the reception if stock is sufficient.
Barbecuing is allowed. Then take the grass and your neighbors into account. Don't put anyone in the stench or smoke, not even yourself
DOGS and PETS
Dogs and pets are very welcome at our campsite. Pets must be kept on a leash, both on the campsite and in the entire surrounding nature reserve. Wildlife and animals can be upset by pets, so much so that (young) animals can die. Please take this into account.
Please also note that not all guests like pets.
SEWAGE TREATMENT
We prefer to use only biological cleaning products. It is absolutely not allowed to flush tampons, sanitary napkins, moist toilet paper, etc. down the toilet. This can cause major problems and blockage. When washing up, please make sure that no food residues disappear down the drain.
CHEMICAL TOILET
You may only discharge the contents of your chemical toilet if you use biodegradable agents!
SANITARY
We keep the sanitary facilities as clean as possible. Help us with that, keep it clean and clean the necessary when you have used the toilet or bathroom.
We use solar energy to heat the building and water, save by taking a short shower.
KAS or Orangerie
We have a greenhouse at the campsite, this is our nice place and also for our guests. Here you can have a drink, eat (cook), grab something to drink, or just snoop around.
There is a wood stove, which you can use. We do not give wood away for free, remember what you use, then you can pay for this on departure.
Always put everything back neatly after use, wash and tidy up / clean. Make sure that others can also use the greenhouse and the interior.
We do not allow larger groups in the greenhouse than about 10 people. This because of the use by several guests and our daytime activities.
TERRAIN AND GRASS
Save the turf. Only use perforated groundsheet or preferably the so-called 'growing mats' through which the grass can grow. These are rubber mats with visible small holes in them, available at any camping store. Digging holes and trenches in the terrain is prohibited, even when it rains!
