About this campspace

Our newly planted orchard is located on a pleasant dead-end street, with a view of the meadows, sheltered between the hedges. Our beautiful spot is close to the recreational lake De Bijland and close to the beautiful nature reserves De Rijnstrangen and Millingerwaard. Located in a rural area, outside the built-up area, between the villages of Lobith and Herwen, yet close to some basic amenities such as a supermarket.

The area has a rich history, of which the Roman Limes (Unesco World Heritage) and the course of the Rhine play an important role.
Go on a journey of discovery over the winding dikes, along the rivers and through the beautiful nature. Get tasty regional products from the farmer, or go look at boats and grab a terrace on the Europakade.
At about 200 meters from bicycle junction 29, the possibilities to explore are endless! So you are only 5 kilometers from the German border, and the nearest city is Zevenaar. A friendly small town, where you can find all the necessary amenities. The large cities of Nijmegen and Arnhem are also easily accessible, and don't forget the German cities, such as Kleef and Emmerich.
Hikers can also indulge themselves here, with the beautiful Rijnstrangenpad (Klompenpad).

There is a solar shower and a camping toilet with sink. You can get drinking water from us in the house and you can also charge your phone there.

We think meeting the whole world at our own place is the most beautiful thing there is! Rajesh has been involved with his parents' campsite with great pleasure and passion for about 25 years. Now we are going to try it for ourselves and we look forward to hearing your stories and experiences. Together with our two (young) daughters Carice and Aurelie we would like to welcome you to the Bijlandsche Waard!

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
