Welcome to my orchard. My meadow orchard is one of my absolute favorite places. It was planted by my grandfather and renovated by me.
The orchard is located just outside "my" village in the Nördlinger Ries and is surrounded by fields. It is on a slight slope. You have a clear view almost all around. About 100 m as the crow flies there is a modern mill. In between there is a meadow and a grassy path.
30 m away the Mühlkanal (Eger) flows as a narrow river.
The garden is a natural wildflower meadow that is mown about twice a year.
If fruit (apples, pears, plums) is ripe, you are welcome to help yourself to it for your breakfast.
LEISURE TIPS:
⇒ Nördlingen is located on the "Romantic Road", has a beautiful, medieval old town, a completely walkable city wall, the Ries Crater Museum, the Gerd Müller Memorial for the "Bomber of the Nation" and the St. George's Church with the 90m high church tower "Daniel" a beautiful vantage point.
⇒ The UNESCO Global Geo Park Ries offers various hiking trails: https://www.geopark-ries.de/geopark-wege/
The "Shepherd's Trail" goes right past "my" village. The geotope/educational trail "Lindle" and the "Swedish Trail" are only 2-3 km away.
⇒ Dinkelsbühl, voted the most beautiful old town in Germany, is also only about 30km away.
⇒ You can go kayaking and canoeing on the Wörnitz. https://www.faltboot.org/wiki/index.php?title=W%C3%B6rnitz

I love my orchard, which was originally planted by my grandfather and which I am gradually maintaining with young trees, mostly of old fruit tree varieties.
And I like to camp "wild" myself... preferably in Norway (profile photo = Trolltunga plateau in Norway), Sweden, Canada, Argentina, New Zealand and Mongolia. Hopefully more countries will follow... :o)
Guests who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excluding Campspace fees). If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
Since the access is via a grassy, slightly sloping dirt road (approx. 300m) where you have to turn once at a 90 degree angle, the access is NOT suitable for caravans and large mobile homes.
The pitches can only be used by completely self-sufficient vehicles (black and grey water!). If you want to camp, please only bring your own camping toilet or folding spade ;o))
The garden is a natural wildflower meadow that is only mown once or twice a year. The grass can therefore be high.
When fruit (apples, pears, plums) is ripe, you can pick some for your breakfast.
Please do not damage the trees.
I WILL SEND YOU DIRECTIONS BY EMAIL.
Any kind of liability on my part for personal injury or damage to property, for example if you twist your ankle on the lawn or a branch falls from a tree onto your vehicle or tent during a storm or thunderstorm, is hereby excluded. ... So far nothing of the sort has happened and hopefully it will stay that way.
I hope you have fun camping 😎😉
