Minicamping Mortels Buiten is located in the rural wooded area of De Mortel in the municipality of Gemert Bakel.

Camping among the standard fruit trees, apples, cherries, stewed pears, pears, plums. In addition to the blossom or other beautiful flowers, there are also many birds, butterflies and bees that come to sniff. The falcons that hang in the air and in the evening the bats that fly around. Then you can hear the woodpecker ticking and the rooster crowing. Starting the morning with a farm-fresh egg from our chickens. And then there are the big rabbits to pet. Peace and space around us, you are in the middle of the countryside, yet close to the villages. Barbecuing is allowed and there is also a campfire place.

The Stippelberg nature reserve is our backyard. Hiking in the area is very beautiful and fun. Also many cycling routes that you can start from the campsite. With the motorcycle out, you will be in Germany or Belgium in no time, plenty of options for a nice ride.

In the nearby villages of Gemert, Bakel, Deurne, Helmond you can enjoy the many terraces on the beautiful squares.

We live wonderfully outside in a former long gable farmhouse. We have a nice piece of land where people can camp. We have many flowers around the field and in the center. Especially for bees and butterflies. But the crickets also love it.
We hope you can enjoy it too, of course.

There is a mobile home that may be used. It has a neat shower and a normal toilet. There is a kitchenette with hot water for easy washing up. There is also a small refrigerator and microwave.

We also have 2 dogs, 5 cats, 1 rooster and 12 chickens and 3 German Giants. At the moment also chicks and young rabbits.

Nice if you visit us, and just like us can enjoy the peace and the animals around you. Waking up of the rooster, the sound of the crickets and of course the many birds. We also have fresh eggs every day.
You're welcome!

The stay was fine! The owners were very hospitable and helpful. Nice environment where we could do what we came for, which is to make a campfire with our nephews. Plumbing is dated but sufficient.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice place on the edge of the Stippelberg and between the fields of corn. They are nice people and in the evening a nice campfire with the children. The shower and toilet are in a mobile home and that is quite dated, but clean so no problem. (There will be a new barn with sanitary facilities.) 4 stars in our opinion!

Karin and Bert live with their son Koert between the fields. There is a lot of space in their garden. Everyone is welcome here, with a caravan, camper van or a tent. If you don't have one, you can even spend the night in the mobile home.
They have 2 lovely dogs Baloe and Spike and are happy to welcome guests with dogs. The dogs may not be on a leash, but are allowed to run free in this place.
There are various facilities that you can use. If you come camping and do not have your own sanitary facilities, you can use a sober shower and toilet. Furthermore, there are various play equipment and a swimming pool that children can use, but under the watchful eye of an adult. There is a fireplace where a fire can be made.
There is plenty to do in the area, walking or cycling through the Stippelberg forest, a visit to the farmers union museum, or just relaxing on the campsite. It is all possible.

A campspace with a lot to do. Swimming pool, playground, dogs and chickens. It gives a bit of a mini camping feeling, but more primitive. Shower and toilet in an old mobile home.

Lovely rural place to stay, you have to love dogs though. Didn't bother us. Toilet and shower are tiny but available. Basic but suited us for the weekend:)
