Wake up by the waterbirds in this tiny-house on a mini-island!

About this campspace #s003634
A wonderfully idyllic place! Your own mini island with a cozy tiny house for two. Located in Hazerswoude village, a small village in the Green Heart, at our tree nursery where we also like to host people! We are surrounded by water and can discover the area by boat.
The tiny house is small but comfortable. With a separate double bedroom, bathroom with shower and toilet, with living room / kitchen fully equipped. The deck next to the water is our favorite place to enjoy the water birds and the peace!
This is a place for true nature lovers! No wifi, a simple house but the most beautiful place to come to yourself!

Sara is a friendly host! Contact in advance went smoothly and she was immediately helpful. The Campspace itself is super! Good sanitary facilities, a nice hammock, beautiful surroundings. Nice that we could borrow a rowing boat and were able to use the barbecue twice. The greenhouse of the Campspace is nicely decorated as a living room. A nice place if the weather is not so good, luckily we had a lot of sun! Sara recommended the cheese farm Sol, tip for future guests, check Google for opening times. After our fantastic camping trip we were able to enjoy a nice piece of cheese afterwards. The second hand shop in the village is fun to visit.
The reception was very warm, the owner Sara even went to the village nearby to get arm floats for our children. The environment is beautifully green and watery (fun for rowing!). Unique set-up of the campsite between the horticultural businesses and growers. Nice chill spot in the green house. Our children spent hours there with the board games. Definitely a place to come back to!
We had an amazing stay at this mini camping and would recommend it to everyone who love nature! We come from Leiden which is only an hour by bike! Toilet, shower and sink with mirror were very clean and new (and private!). There was even light and electricity to charge. The space to camp is quite big with your own hammock. You can borrow a rowing boat to explore the neighborhood (we even swam!). Also we used the cool fireplace where we had dinner and sat the whole evening. There is a cool green glass house with vintage furniture, a lot of plants, games and books! You can even borrow bikes for free to cycle around. We drove to Boskoop to get lunch at a restaurant terrace! The nearest supermarket is 12 min by bike in Hazerswoude-dorp. The owner is also really kind and helpful. Thank you for the amazing stay and we would love to come back!
We were very happy with the mini camping in Hazerswoude-Dorp! The private sanitary facilities (until 1 July) and the rowing boat were big pluses. Contact with Sara was pleasant, fast reactions and good tips.
We had the best stay in years. Although it was just a weekend, it felt like a mini-holiday. We stayed in the cabin on the little private island, in the middle of beautiful and peaceful nature. The cabin is a bit dated, but still in good condition. Clean and tidy as well. The bed was a bit creaky, however very comfortable. Our dog had a great time running around, playing with branches, watching the birds, chasing butterflies. We could easily barricade the ‘gate’ to the island so the dog couldn’t escape. Everything was taken care of by our host Sara: towels, bedsheets, toilet paper, fresh fruit, mini “stroopwafels”, wood for the fire, candles, a rowing boat and more. We could reach Sara at any moment, before and during the stay. She responds quickly and is really helpful and friendly. Activities we would recommend: taking the rowing boat and discover the beautiful neighbourhood, BBQ and campfire in the evening, visit De Molen Brewery in Bodegraven, and visit Leiden. Tips for future guests: bring anti-insect spray and light the fire and citronella candles to scare away mosquitos; and keep the screen door closed to prevent insects from entering the cabin ;)
