Come and enjoy our attractive mini-camping site 'Het Zomernest' where you can experience peace, space and privacy for 2 months a year (July 7 to September 3), as well as enjoy the atmosphere. Swim among the fish in our beautiful natural swimming pond and find the ultimate relaxation in our wonderful sauna with outdoor shower. At your disposal is also a spacious fire pit, a trampoline, a football field, a chicken coop with fresh eggs, an outdoor bar with coffee and tea in the morning, an indoor bar where you can enjoy a drink in the evening and a shower building. with 2 spacious showers, 2 toilets, a urinal, a combined shower & toilet and a covered washing-up area.
The grounds are park-like with many different shrubs and plants; a true paradise for many birds and butterflies. The campsite has 14 spacious camping pitches, each with its own power point, 2 of which already have a fully equipped folding trailer or camper that can be rented for a small additional charge if you do not own one yourself. Due to the small amount of camping pitches, there is a lot of space, privacy and the possibility for personal contact when desired.
There is plenty of room for entertainment for young and old on and around the site. In the evening there are marshmallows to roast in the fire pit with a view of the sunset and twice a week you can watch a nice movie in our outdoor cinema in the evening. Behind the site, a 5-minute walk away, you will find a beautiful nature reserve 'Schans de Katshaar' and there are many walking and cycling routes in the area. The nearest supermarket in Schoonebeek is 10 minutes by bike or 5 minutes by car. If you want to do something more active in the area, the old fortified town of Coevorden is also easy to reach by car. At about 10 minutes drive you will also find Plopsa Indoor and the Hutten Hoogte Center Parcs with AquaMundo and activities such as laser tag, bowling, climbing and Adventure golf as entertainment for everyone. Afterwards you can enjoy all the peace, space and nature on our site.
