Camping on a former farm in Chiemgau. Beautiful parking space on the edge of a herb meadow with mountain views.
Our farm is in a quiet location on the outskirts. A stay with us is therefore also ideal if you have children. A shady adventure playground is within easy walking distance. Pets are always welcome, but we ask that you contact us in advance.
The local village shop with many local products is only a 5 minute walk away, as is the train station and a bus stop. There are more shops in the neighboring towns of Ruhpolding and Siegsdorf.
In the middle of the Chiemsee/Chiemgau holiday region and with the neighboring towns of Ruhpolding, Inzell, Reit im Winkl and the district town of Traunstein, we are very centrally located.
The tourist highlights such as Chiemsee, Waginger See, Winklmoosalm-Steinplatte can be reached by car within a few minutes. Likewise, the Chiemgau Alps with many mountain railways and the famous peaks of the Sonntagshorn, Rauschberg and Hochfelln.
A mountain tour can also be started directly from the farm on foot or by bike. In the immediate vicinity, many smaller peaks, valleys, paths and bike trails invite you to hike and cycle in untouched nature. There is something for every age and fitness level.
In summer, in addition to the many lakes, the newly renovated outdoor pool in Siegsdorf, the Vita-Alpina indoor wave pool in Ruhpolding, also with an outdoor pool, or the natural bathing lake in Inzell offer refreshment. For those who love nature, there is a beautiful natural bathing area on the Traun in the immediate vicinity.
In Ruhpolding there is an 18-hole golf course, mini golf and adventure golf, a fairy tale park and a summer toboggan run. Munich, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Berchtesgaden and Rosenheim are easy to reach for a day trip.
The transport connection is very good, the A8 Munich-Salzburg motorway is only 5 km away, as is the German Alpine Road. The federal roads in the direction of Berchtesgadener Land, Tyrol and Salzburg are practically on the way.
Enjoy the peace and quiet on the pitch and the beautiful view of the mountains. We can give you lots of tips for excursions in the region, even if the weather doesn't play along.
Electricity and water are possible on request.
We look forward to you!

Robert and Leonie have been wonderful hosts. We stopped at your place on our trip to Slovenia and took the opportunity again on the return trip. The footprint is big enough and there is fresh water and electricity. The waste water could also be disposed of, but would have to be routed away with a hose. There is also the possibility to empty the toilet and drain the waste water a few km away.
All in all they gave a great tip for eating out. We had 2 delicious meals at the Forellenhof, which is highly recommended.
The stay was very pleasant for us and if it works out again we will come back :)

The place is in a wonderful location, very quiet and idyllic. It takes about 1 hour to drive to Königssee or to the Rossfeld Panorama Straße.
How was the contact with the host?
Robert and Leonie are just great, very helpful and always on the spot if you have a request. Rarely have you met such nice people
Tips for new guests?
Drive via the Rossfeld Panorama Straße, Königssee with the boat trip to Salet and from there hike to the Obersee, best take the first boat then you are almost alone there.

Quiet spot on a large meadow. We stayed 2 nights. There is electricity and water, otherwise self-sufficient, but that was no problem because we have a toilet and shower in the camper.
How was the contact with the host?
The contact was very good and fast, and very friendly!
We received information about the area and delicious tomatoes from our own garden
Tips for new guests?
Tobogganing and the mammoth museum are fun trips.

Beautiful and quiet location (3 camping pitches) with very friendly and hospitable owners.
Very nice view on the edge of a small village. Those looking for peace and quiet will certainly find what they are looking for here. The only downside as a tent camper (we stayed there for 1 night as a stopover) is that there is no toilet on site, but only a public toilet a little further away. This was clearly stated in advance.
We will definitely come back here with a camper
How was the contact with the host?
The host is very friendly and welcoming. You can always ask them if you need anything. All our questions were answered quickly and clearly in advance. Very nice and hospitable people
