This tranquil wild space has few amenities but we offer a fresh drinking water tap and the use of our outside toilet. There are a maximum of two camping pitches to preserve the peacefulness.
We are 1.5 miles from the main road along a single track road so, virtually no traffic passes. The added bonus is no street lights and amazing stars on a clear night!
If you camp with us there is ample parking. We do not allow any pets as there are usually sheep grazing in our fields and, occasionally Welsh Black Cattle.
From our land on a clear day we can look out across the bay to Llyn Peninsula over thirty-five miles away. On clear evenings the sunsets can be truly breath-taking
Our rural setting of 13 acres includes a Site of Special Scientific Interest featuring orchids and other meadow flowers.
We are only 3 miles by car from beautiful sandy beaches but you may choose to walk on the official waymarked footpath from Borth to Devil’s Bridge which runs across our land.
It is 7 miles to the historic University town of Aberystwyth with varied individual shops and plentiful supermarket shopping. Places of note to visit in Aberystwyth include: Folk Museum, Castle Ruins, The National Library of Wales, Rheidol Narrow Gauge Railway (from Aberystwyth to Devils Bridge.)
Another local landmark is Constitution Hill with its Victorian Funicular Railway and Camera Obscura taking in the full sweep of Cardigan Bay.
If birds are your thing: we are fifteen minutes away from the Dyfi Osprey Project. The RSPB Ynys Hir site is even closer plus you can see Red Kites being fed daily at Bwlch Nant Yr Arian.
