With your Tent
The land is large enough for ten tents.
It is located a little away from the village, on the edge of the forest.
A border of trees separates the land from the road, allowing some privacy.
The land is mostly left uncultivated, we only clear the land when we use it, to leave the wild fauna and flora alone.
The land is not connected to water or electricity, but you can get water and charge your phones in the house, two streets up.
There is an outhouse.
There is a designated area for barbecuing.
There is the possibility of having breakfast/meals at home, I am a pastry chef and cook and I can adapt to any diet.
Our table can accommodate up to 6 people.
The village is surrounded by 3 forests and is the starting point for several walks.
In the immediate surroundings, there is Laroche and its castle ruins, Marche-en-Famenne and its statues, Durbuy the romantic..
There are also adventure centers (acrobranch, zip line, climbing...), bike rides or horseback riding, caves to visit...

You're welcome to charge your devices at the house
You will have the opportunity to see the two raccoons who live in the big oak tree. The neighbour's donkey will know how to welcome you anyway.
Come camp with the moon! If you sleep outside on a full moon, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy bright, clear skies, admire the stars, and be able to take a walk at night without the need for lights!

The ground is left fallow as long as it is not used, we clear only if a site is reserved.
There is an outhouse on the property.
Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded.
We accept everyone and all animals (even horses, there is a way to close the land, it is fenced),
But any animal must at all times be controllable and controlled by its human(s).
Any damage on and off the pitch is your responsibility.
There is a fire/bbq area, and this is the only place where it is allowed to start a fire. If you cook with gas, please use this space as well.
You can provide yourself with kindling on the ground (there are small piles of fine branches), but if you plan to make a big fire which will last several hours or to cook with wood, please bring your own logs (for idea, a 25l bag of logs, +/-10 logs, is €7.3 at Déma -August 2022-).
If the municipality is on fire alert (it can happen during the summer) and prohibits fires, you will not be able to make a fire or a bbq.
Normal nocturnal noise rules apply (no unwanted noise after 10 p.m.). That said, the land being a bit isolated from the village allows music and conversations until late at night.
If other campers are on the site with you, please show respect and attention: the noise stops when the first ones go to sleep.
You won't leave anything behind when you leave, a trash can is available in the house, please remember to take trash bags with you. There is an accessible compost on the ground (private part).
If you wish to book a breakfast/meal, please do so at the time of your reservation, at least 24 hours in advance.
In case of severe weather (storm, flood... it's rare, but it happened two years ago), the house is of course open to you.
The land is 100% organic, you can pick whatever you want on it (nettles, apples and walnuts in season, dandelions, blackberries, egopodus...).
We take no responsibility if you eat something you shouldn't have eaten, if you're unsure of the plant, don't pick it, or ask us!
