About this campspace

On our farm in Franconian Switzerland we have 2 - 3 pitches up to approx. 7 meters long.
When booking, please state which vehicle you are coming with.
Length, number of people, approximate arrival time, so that I can estimate which place is best for you.
The new compost toilet has been installed since spring 2023 and can be used at any time.
There is electricity on site and water can be refilled whenever we are at home.
Washing machine available on request for a fee.
We also have a nice spot in the front yard, but it is not always available.
There is no wooden hut here, but there is a seating area in the green and the toilet is closer.
Up at the wooden hut, 3 campers can easily camp together, but this cannot be booked and must be mentioned when booking, because I will only put 3 campers together on request.

At the edge of the village you can immediately start cycling on the cycle path.
In the next small town, Hollfeld, you can have a nice meal or go to the outdoor swimming pool and the cinema.
Here you can also stock up on supplies for your excursions at the butcher, bakery and supermarket.

Excursion destinations:
The natural bathing lake is 16 km away in
Pottenstein with its many excursion destinations such as stalactite caves, summer toboggan run etc. and hiking trails can be reached in 25 minutes.
Bayreuth and Bamberg can be reached in 30 minutes.
There are many castles and castle ruins to discover in Franconian Switzerland.

Access possible with a normal vehicle.
Fresh water can be refilled free of charge.
Showers and washing machine available on request for a fee.
Electricity -,50 to 2,- daily, depending on requirements
Small amounts of daily washing up can be disposed of.

You can buy fresh eggs and honey from us.
In spring and summer I also have vegetables and sometimes I can offer you fresh rolls.
You are also welcome to refill your groceries like in the "unpackaged store", I have some in stock.
If you forgot a bottle of beer or something for breakfast in the evening, please feel free to ask.
I usually offer meat from our poultry and lambs frozen.

We have the sheep's wool made into pellets for the garden and there is also loose wool which I am happy to package for you.

Strollers, buggies and backpack carriers are available for a small rental fee.
Slackline, kicker and swing/slide tower can be used temporarily.
50 meters further is the playground with a climbing tower.
The Wiesent also runs along here and is still "small".

Waste disposal:
Compost, plastic, cans and paper free of charge.
Small amounts of residual waste free of charge, small garbage bag -,50 cents, large garbage bag 2,- €
Old glass and cardboard in the local glass recycling container.
For the sake of the environment, please separate your garbage!

Please keep dogs on a leash as cats and small animals roam the yard.
A fire bowl is available and can be used if there is no risk of fire.
Unfortunately it is not possible to set up an awning.
Camping possible on request at certain times and depending on tent size.
