If you're looking for an alternative to a campsite, look no further! 'Camping in Wallonia' takes on a whole new meaning at our monastery campsite in Belgium.

With the keywords experience, move, admire, refuel your stay in the beautiful and vast domain becomes a swirling cocktail of nature, relaxation, tranquillity and authenticity.

We offer camping spots on a 2.5 hectare park. In total we allow 12 camping 'bubbles'.
The sanitary facilities consist of 6 toilets with sinks (rainwater).
You can find 6 showers on the first floor of the former monastery school.
We advise you to bring a length extension cable if you would like to enjoy electricity.

Since recently, we also offer an overnight stay in our fully renovated and authentic gypsy caravan on the monastery domain.
Facilities available include: Toilet, shower, BBQ, campfire, laundry, basic dishwashing corner, dogs allowed. An enclosed horse pasture is available for those who want to go out for a weekend to explore our beautiful region with their own horse.

It was a beautiful location and a well-kept house. We did not expect that so much was provided in the gypsy wagon itself. My mother thought this was the best vacation we've ever had between the two of us. Very relaxing environment, just what we needed. We would love to come back!

The campsite is a beautiful domain of a former monastery domain. In the building you will find the former common areas of the monastery school where now the private toilets and showers are allocated per camping spot.
You camp on spacious pitches with lots of privacy in a beautiful natural garden. Laying and maintaining natural gardens is Lieven's specialty.
For those who do not have a tent or camper of their own, there is also the possibility to spend the night in a cozy pipowagen with a private garden. In any case, we will do this again.

About 1 km walking from the domain you will find the Ferme Dorlou with an organic shop and the best bread in the area.

For the first Campspace experience, this was a direct hit.
We slept 1 night in the shadow of the beautiful monastery building.
The toilets and shower rooms immerse you in the days of that time, but were in perfect order, clean and tidy.

We slept in peace and quiet.

Not the peace and tranquility we were hoping for, the neighbouring village had a music festival that went on until the early hours keeping us awake, it would have been nice to be warned about this. This was our most expensive campsite of our 3 week trip but unfortunately the facilities weren't great, basic toilet and showers, although fairly clean, no WiFi, one outside sink for washing dishes (not covered so you'd end up with a soaking yourself in the rain). Lovely location just don't think it qualifies the price
