A unique opportunity: sleep in an old fort! We offer you that opportunity and you will be surprised at the luxury we can offer you. In your bedroom you have your own space with sink, shower, toilet and a small kitchen. This is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee and tea making equipment.

Fort Vuren is part of the New Dutch Waterline, a defense line that could not be started until 1845. This line runs from Muiden to the Biesbosch and contains more than 60 fortifications. Fort Vuren is a tower fortress and was built in 1845. A major renovation was already taking place in 1878: the construction of the Contrescarp.
