This small campsite, selected by the ANWB, is a mini campsite with very spacious pitches in Voisey. Voisey is an authentic French village in the Haute Marne (Champagne d'Ardenne) in France, about 600 km from Utrecht. The campsite has only ten camping pitches to continue to guarantee its small-scale character. Seven places are free places for tents, caravans, campers or folding trailers. There are also three (furnished) de Waard tents for rent.
It is a mini campsite for people who love nature and the countryside, want to relax and have a beautiful view, while enjoying a nice French wine. To de-stress and recover from a busy life in the Netherlands, you've come to the right place. Originally this campsite was a fruit orchard of a French farmer from the village. There are still plum, cherry, walnut and apple trees, which you can pick and eat to your heart's content when the fruit is ripe.
The campsite is located on the edge of the village and you can enjoy a beautiful view over meadows, villages, hills and forests. Its charm is its natural location. The birds feel at home and chirp cheerfully. Hoopoes and a barn owl are regularly seen or heard. It is also quite possible to see foxes and roe deer foraging in the surrounding meadows. At night you see a lot of stars, because the street lights go out.
Lovers of (organic) wines and French cuisine can indulge themselves in the area. Nice restaurants are nearby and wine tasting is possible in Coiffy-le-Haute. There are many walking and cycling routes in the area along cozy French villages. There are also activities nearby for the children. There is a swimming pool, mini golf and the petting zoo: Park de Bannie.
This small and cozy campsite is a good choice if you like small scale or if you want to recover from a busy life in the Netherlands. And also very suitable if you are in transit to the south or north, drive via the route du Soleil, but do not want to continue in one go.

Small, rustic campsite. Friendly welcome by owner with clear explanation.
About 12 camping pitches for camper, caravan or tent with beautiful and unobstructed views of the surrounding area. Rental tents are also available on the campsite. We were passing through so stayed 1 night. Coincidentally, a French party night with live music was organized that evening.
Toilet and showers are dated, but clean.
