About this campspace
The tent/parking space is located above our garden on our property, which is located right in the center of Mengersgereuth-Hämmern in the municipality of Frankenblick, picturesquely embedded in wooded mountain ridges in the middle of nature, away from noisy traffic, but easily accessible by bus, car and to reach the South Thuringia Railway.
On our property of a former small farm with a view of the surrounding mountain slopes there is a spacious garden with various seating areas (also covered) and barbecue facilities, which you are welcome to use.
Within walking distance of approx. 500m you will find several shops for everyday needs, a playground, a pharmacy, several medical practices, a bank, bus stops and the train station.
In summer, hikes or bike tours on the numerous hiking and biking trails around the village offer you rest and relaxation in the healthy forest air.
In winter you will find the best conditions for extensive ski hikes on 50 km of groomed ski trails. For the alpine experts, the slopes in the Silbersattel ski arena in Steinach are only about 4 km away.
In the nearby toy town of Sonneberg you can visit the toy museum, relax in the sun bath, feed the sharks in the sea aquarium or admire the world's smallest and largest teddy bear in the German Teddy Bear Museum.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
