Spend the night in a beautiful natural garden
About this campspace #s003847

Your host
Jan en HesterWe have turned a former farm into an artist center with a fantastic natural garden. Birds fly back and forth, the strawberry farmer, asparagus grower, dairy farmer and the many nature reserves are literally around the corner.
Unfortunately we do not have a playground for children. We are not equipped for that. People who want to enjoy the silence and tranquility for a few days will certainly get their money's worth here.
Oirschot is a monument in itself and within 25 minutes you are at the station in Best and Brabant is further open to you. Tilburg, Eindhoven and Den Bosch with its many museums.
In our nature garden there are various buildings (folly's) where you can also spend the night. You will wake up from the morning sun and the song of the many birds.
In the evening you can make a campfire to muse and relax by the fire. Natural tranquility returns every evening. Swimming in our natural swimming pond is recommended.
Unfortunately dogs are not welcome.
We have no washing facilities other than our swimming pond. We have a compost toilet and a jerry can with tap water. It really is camping in the nature garden.
We (Hester and Jan) live here with my daughter's family with her two small children. Due to the special location of the natural garden, there is sufficient privacy for everyone.

We are Jan and Hester. Jan is a former welfare worker, with a passion for organizing activities and building all kinds of fun things. Hester is a visual artist with a workshop at home. We have been working for 18 years to make our place a natural paradise. A vegetable garden, chickens, orchard and nature garden with an amphibian pool are part of this. We enjoy our place and we like to let others enjoy it too.

It was wonderful, I went water fasting and meditating for three days and for that this place was perfect. Wonderfully quiet, nice swimming pond and creative elements packed in lush nature. It was the perfect location for my objective.

What a great place. A beautiful experience does not have to be far from home. At the turn of the year the tent was set up in Jan and Hester's garden. Looking for some shelter in a folly. And oliebollen heated over the campfire. There is something to experience in every corner of the garden. And a pond always has something extra. Even though the stay was short, we enjoyed it.
How was the contact with the host?
Nice hospitable people, just good!

You actually want to keep a place like this a secret… so nice, quiet and special. But a nice review is most in order. Jan and Hester's natural garden is beautiful. We have really calmed down. In the middle of nature, but also close to the cozy Oirschot. Nice spacious camping spot, and in the evening a nice campfire. We will definitely come back!
How was the contact with the host?
Very well. Clear description and easily accessible.

It was our first encounter with Campspace.
We recently picked up camping again, the tent has been in the closet for years, this was a great experience to see how it has held up over the years. And that with Hester and Jan. No rain, nice sun and the tent has survived its 'debut' just fine.
Nester and Jan's Campspace is located in a beautiful location: not far from Eindhoven, not far from Oirschot. We do not know this area.
Then Straten is a great place to explore the area from here.
How was the contact with the host?
Excellent, Jan was already on the lookout and showed us around his beautiful estate with swimming pond. The frogs were already on the lookout…
Tips for new guests?
Beautiful private spots, nice sitting areas and great swimming.

Very nice to stay with Jan and Hester in their beautiful garden. You can choose a beautiful place (they all have a beautiful view) and Jan and Hester welcome you. Had very nice conversations with them. If I’m in the area again for a bike ride, I’ll definitely be back.

It was a small location and inviting for small children. Made a lovely campfire. The host was friendly and very helpful allowing us to roast corn. Highly recommended. All we missed was running water. Especially because it was warm, a little splashing around would have been nice.

A piece of private seventh heaven; you cannot escape the holiday feeling between the native Brabant bushes, works of art and other structures. You camp on a piece of nature area created by the hosts, the size of half a football field, including a dry toilet. Recommended!

Rules
You camp in a natural garden with a natural swimming pond. Respect nature. Unfortunately, pets are not desirable. We do not have play facilities for children. Campfire at your camping spot is allowed in the available barrel or fire pit. There is a compost toilet, but we do not have washing or shower facilities. If desired, you will receive a jerry can with clean drinking water from us.
You can park your bicycle at the tent, but you can only park your car in the parking space next to the nature garden.
No electrically amplified music and like to rest in the garden after 10 pm. In our natural (unheated) swimming pond you can swim wonderfully, make sure that no soap, shampoo or sunscreen gets into the pond, this kills the water life. The surrounding fields belong to the neighbors and may not be entered.
