Need rest, time to come to yourself and still want some extras? Then you've come to the right place!
On our 1ha meadow you will find ponies, chickens, cats and rabbits, where we love a little comfort in addition to the beauty of nature. A caravan is provided in which you can prepare a basic meal or provide shelter from the sun or rain.
You can laze in the hammock, swing seat or lounge chair or enjoy a game of Kubb, pétanque or other board games that you will find in the caravan.
If you want, you can take care of the animals, look for cherries on the tree, pick grapes from the bush or snack on the goodies in the conservatory.
There is a BBQ where, in addition to baking meat, you can also prepare pizzas.
You can end the evening with a marshmallow over the fire pit!
However, much more is possible!
We offer additional activities such as initiation archery, blowpipe shooting, ground work with the ponies, initiation horse language, team building exercises, petanque, pool, darts, slackline…
So make it a real men's weekend, a relaxed ladies' weekend, a family or team building weekend or a combination of all of this. Everything is possible!
Let us know in advance and we will make the necessary arrangements.
If you like to be pampered, breakfast and/or dinner can be provided by caterer den Did. This is delivered to the caravan. Put it in your email and we'll look at your wishes further.

Our meadow is located 2 km from Wijgmaal station. If you are passing through, we can pick you up at the station.
Both in Rotselaar and in Wijgmaal (both located 2 km from the meadow) you will find shops, a bakery, a chip shop and an ATM.

Want to discover our place?
Then we hope to welcome you soon!

Together with our 3 teenagers we love to enjoy: games in the garden, aperitifs with a view of the setting sun, cuddling with our ponies and so much more! For us, our meadow is our little paradise and we would like to share that wonderful feeling with you!

Warm reception, beautiful camping spot, idyllic to wake up in the morning, relaxed atmosphere with hosts where you can always go with all kinds of questions. The necessary conveniences such as (inside) fridge, cutlery, table, ... And (outside) covered seats and table with the possibility of a campfire were tiptop. The outdoor shower was a unique experience that provides the necessary refreshment!
Thank you Diane and Werner for making our short trip so enjoyable. Hopefully see you in the future!
Many warm (hopefully dry) greetings,
Marie-Lou and Tommy

How was the contact with the host?
Quiet hosts, with a warm welcome on arrival and a smooth tour with sufficient explanation. There was also a relaxed chat in between. More and less was not necessary, ideal for us!

Tips for new guests?
- Bring shoes/sandals/slippers that are easy to put on and take off to walk in and out of the camper, especially when it's raining. Or a mat/towel to put at the door.
- Earplugs are useful during the night for those who wake up (quickly) from environmental noise such as low-flying aircraft or passing traffic. As a sound sleeper, this didn't bother me, but I can imagine that this could be the case for others.
- You can use their swimming pool when the weather is nice, so bring your swimming gear!
- Park your car at Wijgmaal station (free parking) to travel to Leuven in 8 minutes. Comes out much cheaper than paying for parking in the city itself.
- Bringing a small rack to hang (outdoor) towels, etc. will come in handy!

Had a wonderful experience with Werner and family. We didn't have to bring anything except tent n food. Cutlery, etc

Oven, fridge, kitchen and nice games/toys were provided in the caravan. We played petanque, archery, pool and darts. Diane provided us with a unique equine language experience. Some things such as blow pipe, archery are available as pay per activity on the menu. Rabbits and chicken were also there. Rainshed helped us enjoy watching the rain and have snacks.

How was the contact with the host?
Contact was smooth and Werner responded us quickly within few hours. We had no problem finding property in contact with the host.

Tips for new guests?
Bring blanket, sleeping bags.

Werner and Diane went above and beyond to make sure we had a great midweek: I even learned how to cook perfect pizzas on their gas BBQ. The best compliment for them is probably that the children have written in their guest book that they would love to come back next year: this will be the third year in a row. This year, too, they have never left the meadow for an outing, because they had everything they needed for a pleasant holiday: animals, a swimming pool, lots of play space, lots of play equipment,...

How was the contact with the host?
Super nice contact: always willing to help, friendly, smooth chats,...

Tips for new guests?
Just experience for yourself how fantastic it is to stay here!

we went to 'on the meadow' in Wijgmaal. It was a very pleasant place where you don't have to bring much yourself to experience a nice and comfortable holiday time. Everything was provided that you can use, just bring your tent, clothing, food and drinks. Super friendly people with a very warm heart and certainly wanted to do everything to make you feel comfortable. Our dog also had the time of his life. The dry toilet is definitely a plus. It was our first camping weekend and it was bitterly cold, but the fire in the evening made it bearable. A lovely breakfast enjoyed by the neighbor there. The only thing that was a drawback for us, the place is right next to the street and under a flight path,.. But I'm sure if you stay here for a few days you won't hear that yourself anymore.

The host were very friendly, gave me a warm welcome, are very helpful. The Campspace brings you at ease in a chill mood. It's a place for harmony for yourself, with the hosts and inner balance with the horses. This place is a good start for exploring the natural environment with great bike trips. Even tourism in Mechelen is a nice experience.

We had a great time at Werner and Diane’s little paradise! Warm welcome, nice parking spot and all the necessary accommodations. We visited Leuven by train but it’s possible to do it by bike (16km). We even shared a meal and some drinks :)! 9/10 would visit again Xxx Sophie and Thomas

It was a very nice experience. Very warm welcome and the combination of camping and the animals there were perfect. I also brought a lot of equipment with me, but in fact, the mobile home is perfectly equipped (kitchen, dishes, cutlery, toys for the children, covered – so also shady, sitting area, etc.). Theoretically you only need your tent. In the evenings we always had a campfire which made a nice end of the day possible. We will definitely go back. Things to highlight: 1) Caterer: We had breakfast once and that was certainly successful. I think ideal for people passing through. Maybe mention possibilities on site. 2) Coaching with the horses…Daughter was delighted, no concrete price had been agreed on. Also here, the prices and possibilities should be listed on site. 3) They continued to supplement the activities in the area…the wines on offer were also pleasant. My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves very much.

Rules

Our cats and chickens roam free. That's why we ask dogs to be kept on a leash.
Because we want to take the neighbors into account, it is nice not to make any more noise from 10 pm.
Campfire can only be made in the fire pit.
