This old olive farm is located on the Tuscany-Umbria border on top of a hill overlooking the lake (Lago di Montepulciano). Which is maintained by a Flemish farmer! Here you can relax in a place where only the birds whistle, bees pollinate, chickens roam, horses neigh and the dog greets you.
Water and electricity are available at the pitch. The farm is quietly located between lawns, olive groves, forests and 3 lakes. You won't hear the sounds of our modern civilization there, except for a farmer plowing his field.
The lake that the house overlooks, Lago di Montepulciano, is a 10-minute walk away and there you can enjoy walking, swimming and watching sunsets. The larger Lago Trasimeno is a fifteen minute drive away with its beautiful islands where you can go by boat. The natural beauty here is enormous and is combined very naturally with the Italian culture that is woven throughout the landscape. The most beautiful cities and cutest villages of Tuscany and Umbria can be easily visited from this base. Assisi, Spello, Bevagna, Passigano, Montepulciano, Cortona, Pienza, Siena... and many other open-air museums make you long for old times and a way of life in connection with nature while you dine with a plate of fresh pasta!
