We offer our orchard on the outskirts of town without any special infrastructure for campers who can camp independently. The R6 cycle path and the apple wine and orchard route are nearby. You can reach Marburg in 22 km, Alsfeld in 25 km or Amöneburg in 6 km as day trips. The Felsenmeer geotour, which you reach after 2.5 km, shows the geological highlights of the Dicken Steine and the Felsenmeer and allows a view from above into the largest basalt quarry in Central Europe.
In the months of May until their winter migration, you can also watch storks at their nests about 200 meters from the site. In Homberg itself, the (citizen's) castle and the Schächerbachtour premium hiking trail are highly recommended. In our town, there is a bakery/café serving breakfast and a gas station 200 meters from the site.
Because of the very sharp bend at the end of our dead-end street into the dirt road, we have only made the site available for mobile homes up to 6 meters, but caravans and, by arrangement, vehicles up to approx. 8 meters are also possible.
We can also offer fresh water and, if necessary, residual waste disposal in smaller quantities by arrangement - although not on site, but only at our home.
Campers who want to stay on the outskirts of town but still be quiet and self-sufficient.
