I stayed here for 2 nights with a tent.
The sanitary facilities are neat and clean and a lovely shower.
You can use the kitchen in the stable with coffee machine (quick filter), kettle, refrigerator and electric hob.
You have a lot of privacy, on the land the paths and places have been mowed around it, the grass grows high.

There is still little shade on the camping land, but there are picnic benches near the carriageway where you can sit in the shade and watch the horses.

We had a wonderful time in a food forest under construction near Ylvy's horses. It was wonderfully quiet with the sounds of all the animals in the background. We enjoyed and will definitely come back again.

Hmmm , my daughter had booked and not realized we had no power at the site . That took a while to switch. But also solved that way. We were allowed to use the fridge in the cafeteria. Other than that it was great .

I was really dependent on batteries for the lighting and I'm going to change that with a solar panel and a battery

Last Easter weekend we stayed with our rented camper at the beautiful location of Ylvie. It is a very quiet and beautiful place and we were able to pick a spot on the meadow with our camper. We looked out on the horses and sheep that roamed there and beautiful nature. An extra bonus was the wonderful weather we had, so we could enjoy nature and tranquility even more.

Our dog also had a great time. He was allowed to walk around freely and played with Ylvie's sweet dog (labrador) all the time. What a sweetheart her dog is.

We could use the just new sanitary room, which is equipped with 2 showers and 2 toilets and a separate sink to do your dishes. The sanitary area looked neat and clean, the showers were wonderfully warm. The only thing is if you both want to shower at the same time that the water jet is less powerful, but the temperature of the water remains wonderfully warm.

Ylvie is very friendly and welcoming and also flexible when you have questions.

We enjoyed it immensely and will definitely come back!

A must for everyone, especially if you like peace and beautiful nature with the animals around you. We like small-scale ourselves very much, not that you are all together on a massive campsite, this was perfect.

What a blissful place. Came here with my client to experience peace and space for two days. And it certainly succeeded. The environment is also really enchanting. And lends itself well to walks and cycling.

The two of us camped at Ylvie for a weekend at the end of March. Truly a (horse) paradise. After a nice reception, a nice spot was selected in the meadow, with a view of the stray horses and the sound of birds, sheep and the neighbor's cows. To the sanitary facilities you walk through the off-leash area of the horses, who come by for a hug :-). Beautiful area for walking, cycling etc. In one word 'perfect'!

What a nice spot! Space, passion and love for animals, tranquility, wonderful surroundings, close to everything: forest, heathland, farmland, villages, restaurants, cycles and probably much more. Ylvie provided us with a short tour, fire pit and is super friendly.

Beautiful surroundings and exactly as described between the horses. Very nice, even if you don't come especially for that. We can enjoy mountain biking in the area. In addition, Ylvie is a great host. The camping spots literally still have to grow, but it looks very promising :)

January 2022. Easily accessible via Campspace. Fast (within 4 hours) and clear contact. Place is easily accessible. Clear instructions where exactly to go. Private sanitary was very nice. Nice shower. On the property it is nice with horses and the friendly dog. Ylvie is a good hostess. In our case it was very relaxed that we could stay longer, because nobody came after us for the spot.

We were allowed to spend the night at Ylvie on Christmas Day with our bus camper. My husband and I had a really nice time. We were allowed to use the fire pit. We cooked our Christmas dinner here. The playful dog was very sociable and the horses have a great time there too. There is enough space. Which makes you feel very free. We will definitely come back.

Ylvie welcomed us warmly and took all the time to show us around her domain. What a beautiful place this horse paradise is. And Ylvie has many plans to make it even bigger and more attractive to more campers. (Sheltered willow spots, camping in a food forest). Although we didn't have a horse in our company, we were allowed to pick a spot wherever we wanted. We chose a spot next to her oldest horse who paid no further attention to these strangers who were standing next to her. Our own sanitary block and a nice campfire made our stay complete. Super spot! also for winter camping. Very luxurious toilet and shower building. Cozy between the horses, occasionally company of the chestnut fetching dog and being sung to sleep by an owl. what more could an outdoor person in transit want?! Nice base for walking, running or cycling in the area.

We spent the night with the electric camper in Ylvie's yard and that was very nice. We were allowed to stand on a paved spot, which was very nice after the rain. We had the clean sanitary facilities all to ourselves and Ylvie was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back for a longer stay between the horses :)

On arrival we were welcomed by an employee of the stable because the host himself was unable to attend. She gave us a tour and helped set up my pony. We could choose where we wanted to put the tent, next to my pony's meadow or at one of the many other nice spots. You can camp here with a lot of privacy or closer to the yard, where the sanitary unit is located. Of course we chose a spot next to the pony. But you can also stand beautifully here without a horse, for example in one of the meadows that are surrounded by bushes.
The area is really great, Lunteren a stone's throw away, with restaurants and shops. The Wekeromse sand, special places such as the Celtic fields and Iron Age farm and the Goudsberg with the center of the Netherlands.
This Campspace is a wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Veluwe, with or without your own horse.

We had the honor of being the first camper van to park on a field. What a magical experience. There are three fields - which were previously used for lodging horses - that Ylvie will set up for campers. In any case, a field is planted with fruit trees so that the guests also get some privacy. Many guests at the same time will never be there, because that is not the experience Ylvie wants to give. We thought it was very special to stand on a field with natural vegetation where the horses occasionally remained curious. They soon lost interest, but they liked the campfire in the fire pit again. To go to the shower/toilet you follow the sandy path where the horses are happy to let you pass. It was remarkable that we - who have never actually been in contact with horses - found the animals very sociable very quickly. It is clear that the animals are having a good time here. It made our experience very special. Because where can you camp alone on a large field with a fire pit where you occasionally pet a horse?

Ylvie is a very enthusiastic hostess who has fascinating stories. For example, she has worked with horses abroad as a biologist. She has arranged the terrain in such a way that the horses can walk around 15 km on a good day. They then walk on a sandy path along the three fields where they graze along the path. It's nice to hear her talk about nature and handling the horses. In the future it may also become a care farm, so that it will have an extra dimension. For the employees and the campers.

Tips for new guests?
We have done a lot with the bicycle. You are close to the center of Apeldoorn. We walked for hours on the heath, through the sand drifts, along the fens and through the woods of the Werkeromse Zand. There you will also pass a reconstructed farm, as it might have looked a long time ago. We found the Wall of Mussert in a residential area near Lunteren. Given its history, it is important that it is preserved. In the vicinity of Lunteren we also saw the neighborhood forest, which was built a long time ago by a notary. In memory of him there is now a beautiful tower from which you have a view of the tree-filled nature.
The bike ride to the national park and the Kroller Muller Museum was also very nice. We have seen so many works of art by famous artists there. The sculpture garden was also impressive. During our visit there was an exhibition by Marinus Boezem. The museum has worked out all his finds. The film gave added value to understand it even better.
Afterwards we saw wild boars and deer in the park. You should actually have more time to view the park (which you pay separately for).
