The Jubelitzsee is a natural area of almost 11 hectares, with trees, meadows, moors, reeds and a now smaller lake area (you cannot swim there, though)
There is a huge variety of species there. Many birds, birds of prey (which also breed there), amphibians, red and wild boar, foxes, etc., which you can discover and observe as long as you move quietly and carefully and take a little time to observe.
The Fahrlander Lake is about 400m away, the old town center is 200m away, there is also a bakery and a small restaurant here. Behind the entrance gate to the site there is a small, semi-paved parking area with trees, which is also suitable for larger campers.
A little further along, along an unpaved path, near an adjacent farm building, there is another parking space directly next to a small field under/next to trees.
You can park a car (up to the size of a VW bus) here. Off-road capability can be very helpful in heavy rain.
Adjacent to the property are paddocks with goats and horses on a pasture.
From the parking space you can take long hikes along unpaved paths, past fields and meadows.
There are no sanitary facilities or waste disposal facilities on site. Guest WiFi is available in the front parking area, and solar power can be used by arrangement when the sun is shining.
Nature lovers, hikers, families, couples, solo travelers, etc.
