The listed estate is located in the landscape, bird protection and FFH area Müglitztal and is on the edge of Saxon Switzerland in the immediate vicinity of Dresden. We are surrounded by species-rich mountain meadows and fields. Forest and meadows are managed according to ecological principles. Ponds, shrubs and meadow orchards inspire biodiversity. A high-quality dressage and fjord horse breeding enlivens our extensive meadows. With a bit of luck, a foal birth can be experienced in the spring.
Precious things from here: Fresh fruit, old local varieties, can be tasted seasonally from our meadow orchards. We also recommend our sweet cherry brandy from the Meissen specialty distillery "Prinz Zur Lippe". A real country air breakfast definitely includes our delicious summer costume honey with linden blossom and a delicious breakfast egg from our lovable Sundheim hens, a rare breed of two-hens.
Exciting: Our fjord horses are an experience, especially for the little ones, pony rides are possible on request. You can help with the care of the horses, with hay and fruit harvest or with landscape maintenance. We also offer small adventure tours in the biotope network of bee forest, meadow orchard, school forest, nature reserve ponds and bat quarters for the whole family.
Signposted forest and hiking trails lead through the protected FFH area Müglitztal on the edge of the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Special highlights are the legendary 1,000-year-old yew tree, the fairytale Kuckuckstein Castle or the traditional clock manufacture in Glashütte.
