soul food. Our mini nature campsite is located in the Volcanic Eifel, WORLD UNESCO, on the edge of the forest. Back to nature, but with the comfort of a new sanitary building. Place your tent under the trees, or not, you can choose it yourself. For caravans and motorhomes we have 2 pitches above the meadow, or the slightly steep gravel path off the meadow. A stream runs along the campsite on one side and immediately on the other side the forest where you can walk endlessly. You walk straight to the caves, flashlight with you! On the meadow you can meet our 2 cats and chickens, they love a visit.
Of course we have set up a fire pit. Just for fun or to prepare your meal upstairs. Are you bringing a guitar, djembee or harmonica? Pleasant!
Next to the campsite is a nice playground for children with a cable car.
You can also book a delicious breakfast with our own eggs, homemade jam and more goodies. About 150 m walk into the forest is a great restaurant with a lovely terrace to enjoy your German beer and schnitzel.
If you are walking / cycling with a light pack, we also have a fridge where you can grab a drink.
You are never here with many people at the same time on the campsite, the pitches are so spacious that you do not get in each other's way. It is possible that mutual coziness will arise, perhaps in the evening by the campfire? After 22.00 please quiet for the guests who appreciate it.

Environment
Kopp is a small ancient country village in a beautiful setting, the third largest forest in Germany. The volcanic Eifel is a great holiday destination. About 380 volcanoes, the Eifel is the oldest volcanic area in the world, are around you. At a distance of about 20 - 35 km you can swim in real volcano crater lakes, the water is also slightly warmer there. In addition, the same amount of castles, fortresses and ruins.
In autumn this is the largest gathering place in all of Germany for red deer, the evening hours are not quiet then, all around you you can hear the deer bellow, an impressive primal sound. Have you ever seen the Milky Way? On clear evenings you can see more stars than you can imagine.
