A shady spot under apple trees, birches and poplars, on the edge of a small wetland biotope in an idyllic location with a view of the Borner post mill - peace and quiet in the Hoher Fläming nature reserve.
The meadow with the pitches is on the edge of the village behind our beautiful three-sided farm and is bordered on the south side by the Berlin-Dessau railway line. The regional train passes by twice an hour and is not extremely loud, freight train traffic is very irregular and can sometimes be loud. The small pond, on the edge of which the pitches are, hardly has any water in the very dry summers of recent times. The area offers shade and places to chill out. A vegetable field, two greenhouses and our own chickens enable partial self-sufficiency. Seasonally, guests can share in the fresh produce. The village is small and has an idyllic old farm church and a real post mill, which is also open on some Sundays and can be visited inside. The place is generally very quiet.
The Activities
There are horse riding opportunities right here in the village, and every two weeks on Saturdays there is a bar where you can bring and take things away for a small donation. On some Sundays the old restored post mill is open. Many hiking trails cross the village. The art hiking trail also leads directly through Borne and you can start beautiful circular hikes from here. The European cycle route E1 passes the neighboring town, which is 2 km away, so the area can also be explored in several directions by bike. Eisenhardt Castle in Bad Belzig with its delightful little "Chocolateria" and regular exhibitions by the art association and Rabenstein Castle with various events are worth a visit. Excellent live concerts are regularly held in "Mals Scheune" in the neighboring town of Wiesenburg. You can find out about alternative lifestyles at ZEGG in Bad Belzig.
Other things
Bad Belzig with its train station, shops, pharmacies, hospital, cinema and swimming pool is 5 km away and easy to reach by bike. The RE7 runs every hour from Bad Belzig through the whole of Berlin (Zoo, main station, Alexanderplatz) and directly to BER. It takes an hour to get to the city center, so it's easy to do for day trips.

I love travelling around in my vintage Eriba Touring car when I have time. The large and beautiful three-sided courtyard takes up a lot of my time, so I like being here and inviting the world to share this quiet and peaceful place with interesting people.
I am a freelance filmmaker and love inspiration, but also peace and quiet. Open to interesting conversations and at the same time good at leaving alone and being left alone:-)

I don't really want to set any rules here, because I want everyone to feel comfortable. I think it's clear that no rubbish should be thrown around, neither in the "thunder bar toilet" nor in the compost bins, and I have absolutely no desire for loud parties with lots of alcohol and shouting. You're not allowed to help yourself in the greenhouses and gardens, which is logical, I think. I'm happy to give something away, either in return for help or financial compensation. I'm just starting to rent out pitches, I'll gain experience and I'm open to suggestions for improvement.
