The unique, Bavarian campsite! A unique camping experience!
Only one parking space is allocated, a privileged spot next to a 125-year-old barn. Directly surrounded by meadows and forests, at the end of a village of 40 inhabitants (no through road).
Here you have free access to fresh water, WiFi and electricity. Waste water/camping toilets can be disposed of in a toilet on the farm if 100% biodegradable additives are used. No disposal of chemical toilets, no open fires or barbecues with charcoal are permitted.
The pitch offers plenty of space, room and privacy and allows a great panoramic view of the Bavarian Forest.
Here, in the middle of the nature of the Bavarian Forest, you will find space and time just for you.
The perfect place to relax - sunrise included.
High up? Summit climber?
What exactly you do with your stay here is entirely up to you. Do you like to be active? The Bavarian Forest, with Germany's first national park, is a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. Check off your list of peaks: Großer Arber (1456m), Großer Rachel (1453m), Lusen (1373m) - with breathtaking views and unique, untouched nature. In summer, there are numerous bathing lakes nearby to soak up the sun. If you're in relaxation mode: chill in or by the camper.
Insider tips from host Christian:
Great hikes directly from the pitch: to the Wackelstein or to the deserted, mystical mountain village of Heimbrechtsreuth. The must-sees of the mountains: Großer Falkenstein, Großer Rachel and Brotjacklriegel. Excellent, homely Bavarian cuisine (please reserve by phone): Kammbräu Zenting, Re(h)serviert Frauenau. In summer: swimming in Ebenreuther See (3 minutes by car).

Christian grew up in a small town in the Bavarian Forest - in the last house on the street in a village of 38 people. Driven by the curiosity of the big world, Christian has already lived in Munich, Melbourne, Tokyo and spent a lot of time professionally in Sao Paolo and Beijing. As a result, he learned to appreciate the tranquility and lifestyle of his homeland. In order to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the city, Christian spends as much time as he can in his home village. The idea was born to share this attitude to life and the old Bavarian way of life with others: peace, slowing down, nature, dialect and traditional cosiness.
