About this campspace

We live in beautiful 32351 Stemwede. This is in East Westphalia near the beautiful Teuteburg Forest, between the River Weser and Lake Dümmer.
We have 2-3 pitches for mobile homes, campers, caravans, tents, etc. A toilet, shower and electricity would be available. Fresh water can also be refilled at any time and waste water can be disposed of.

Camping on the farm

The farm is rural with many animals such as chickens, horses, donkeys, etc. directly on the Stemweder Berg. With just a few feet you can take beautiful walks either directly in the mountain or in the Diepholzer Moor. On request, our two great donkeys can accompany you on walks. Pony rides can be booked in advance for families with children, but of course also for adults without children. In autumn you can also watch the gathering of the cranes. Here numerous cranes gather on the bog to travel south. The event is simply spectacular, worth seeing and definitely not to be missed. But even in summer you can explore the quiet area by bike and even make a small detour to Lake Dümmer. This can be reached quickly via a nice bicycle network. The Dümmer See offers numerous opportunities to have a small snack, eat an ice cream, play mini golf or simply relax on the small beaches. There are also beautiful cycle paths on the Weser directly on the water, which can be reached quickly by car.
There is plenty of space for the evening hours, so that a set of furniture can be set up outside with enough distance and you can also have a barbecue. The nearby shops can be reached in a few minutes by car. If you then forget to get something for Sunday, a nearby gas station with an adjacent supermarket also offers the opportunity to shop on Sundays and public holidays.
The price per night does not include water, toilet and shower. If you need this, you can book it. We also offer 60-minute pony rides.

Many greetings from the north
Anna and Dennis

Dennis and Anna made us feel very welcome. We were lucky enough to be there all alone and therefore had the shower and toilet to ourselves.
Not very far from the Dümmersee, far enough to be very quiet.
We'll be back for sure.

How was the contact with the host?
Very pleasant and friendly. Dennis enjoys the contact.

Tips for new guests?
Pool Billiards!

It was delicious. With 2 or 3 other campers we had plenty of space and our daughter Thyrza loved dealing with the animals present.

How was the contact with the host?
Fine, we were received very warmly and every day was informed whether everything was okay, or whether we had any wishes.

Tips for new guests?
It is fun to explore the Oppenweher or Rehdener Geestmoor by bike or on foot. Around the campsite are all kinds of nice birds.

Nice little farm campsite! Especially for small children, because there are chickens, ducks, a donkey, a horse, rabbits and dogs and a nice playground on the camping field. In the common building there is 1 bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. Here they also sell eggs from the chickens. Friendly welcome, at our request the manager chopped wood so that we could make a fire, very nice!

How was the contact with the host?
Fine, nice people

Tips for new guests?
Marshmallows for the campfire 😊
