About this campspace #s006027
A human-sized house entirely built by us, a bit like a "hobbit house".
It is in fact a kerterre, habitat in hemp, lime and sand. Comfortably furnished, you will spend a relaxing and restful stay as close as possible to nature, with ease.
Many hikes criss-cross the Montagne Bourbonnaise, some of which cross the village. Also, no need to take the car once there unless you want to visit the medieval villages and other surrounding sights.

We arrived in Fayot on Saturday around 3:30 p.m. We were welcomed by Laurianne and Lionel, the charming owners of Kerterre who showed us around the place and its surroundings (aromatic path, future Kerterres…). Then we drank a little tea (provided by the hosts) on the terrace, all while admiring the view and enjoying the calm of this site. Around 6 p.m., we lit the brazier on the terrace, we drank an aperitif, then ate. Around 9 p.m., night having fallen, we went inside the Kerterre, we lit the wood stove and candles. We felt so good, so peaceful. We could admire the view through the windows from the bed. I cannot explain to you what it feels like in this Kerterre, all I can tell you is that it feels good, really good. The next morning we woke up to the sound of birds around 6am. We went out to breathe the fresh air on the terrace, then I settled into the hammock where I could admire nature waking up. At 8:30 a.m., Laurianne came to bring us breakfast, homemade bread, butter and delicious little jams… All this with good hot coffee. We had our breakfast on the terrace. Then we got back on the road around 10am. Lilian and Laurianne came to say goodbye to us before leaving, everything was perfect from start to finish. We are really happy with our stay.
How was the contact with the host?
Very very good ! Lilian and Laurianne are two beautiful people, natural, caring and authentic, they made us feel very welcome. We talked a lot with them and we really appreciated their way of living, of thinking... They welcome people with their hearts and it shows...
