About this campspace
la Cotentinette: large plot of land in an old fishing village, quiet, large space and sea view.
Absolute tranquility. No noise or visual pollution, perfect for lovers of “beautiful stars”.
Close to the Eurovélo 4, the GR34 and La Cotentin beach (400 meters), it is the ideal spot for a stopover between the coast and our beautiful countryside.
Some will take the time to come there for several days because the place is ideally located for visiting major sites such as Erquy, Cap Fréhel, Saint Cast le Guildo, Pléneuf-Val-André (seaside resort and 18-hole golf course and the entire pretty coast of Emeuraude).
Others will only stay one night because their road trip is more rhythmic.
Let's discuss your arrival arrangements and your expectations, we should be able to work something out.
On site, I will be able to advise you on this pretty "little corner", an updated activity binder and IGN maps are also at your disposal.
You will have understood, the land has a sea view on one side and a view of the countryside on the other: ideal! do not hesitate!
The landscaped grounds are almost enclosed, surrounded by a bocage hedge, not overlooked, facing due west.
A very peaceful place!
Breathtaking view of the bay with the added bonus of sumptuous sunsets!
The Bréhat lighthouse can be visible (The island is 1 hour 10 minutes away (1 hour by car and 10 minutes by boat)
The land is occupied by all kinds of birds (pigeons, swallows, tits (shelters installed on the land). You may hear the local sheep and horses, you will come across "Albert" one of the neighborhood hares and may see -be our "3 color" cat, very discreet and not disturbing!

- 400 m: Cotentin beach, Margaux caves, GR34, orientation table (so nice viewpoint)
- 200 m: equestrian center
- a little further: St Alban cider house with the possibility of renting donkeys to discover the surrounding areas
2 km away, access to other beaches (Belliard, Morvan port with slipway)
3 km: Dahouet marina,
Pléneuf Val André seaside resort, 18-hole golf course, bakeries, bars, restaurants, creperie, terraces, casino.
3 km: town of Planguenoual (bakery, small shops, pharmacy, medical center)
5 minutes (by car): Lidl, Biocoop and various shops (local products)
15 minutes away: Erquy and the entire Emerald Coast, Cap Fréhel, Saint Cast le guildo...etc..but also Binic, St Quai Portrieux..
Culinary question:
800 m away: restaurant: mussels/fries specialties but not only that!! ;
(in Jospinet) tasting and sale of seafood as well as a shop selling local products,
Possibility of visiting the bouchots of the bay by boarding an amphibian boat (visit organized by local mussel farmers)
Other remarks
Possibility for GR34 hikers or bikers traveling “Light” to order breakfast.

Surrounding yourself with nature in comfort mode, bivouac or road trip mode, is a joy and a luxury: I love it just like you!
Sharing hiking ideas and unusual places on the coast and surrounding countryside is of course possible.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
Rules
- arrival from 6 p.m. (otherwise prior agreement) and departure before 10 a.m.
- respect for the place (cleanliness) and calm for all. (therefore, festive events, alcoholic or not, are prohibited on the grounds) and cleanliness around the pitches (bins with selective sorting expected)
- Bathroom and WC: accessible 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
(1 shower per night per person, not more (thank you Mother Nature), otherwise supplement of €2 per shower)
- recovery of cold water from the shower (as far as possible), (for watering plants)
- outside smokers ok! no pbm, just think about your butts!
Even if this is unheard of, I reserve the right to end a stay even after installation, if the conditions of safety, cleanliness and good respect for places and people were not respected, but frankly it would be a first.
