Very nice place behind the garden, in the forest. Son aged 4 and dog loved it too! Perhaps even more fun in the summer.

How was the contact with the host?
Very quick, responded quickly and with all the necessary information. Also flexible in terms of arrival and departure times.

Great place in the garden.
Nice location behind their monastery.
Challenge to drive the path to the back with the camper, after a lot of rainfall.
Help came through the neighbor who got me back on the right path with his tractor.

How was the contact with the host?
Was welcomed with a short explanation where to find what.
Had a cup of tea with them in the conservatory and my privacy was respected.

Fortunately, the camper is back on the right path. Due to a few days of heavy rainfall, the sandy path had become very slippery. It was a challenge to get behind.

Tips for new guests?
It is a beautiful region in all its simplicity and grand in nature. Hiking is hassle-free here and there are plenty of options.

Tip: if you sleep in a van or camper, don't stand under the oak and don't forget mosquito spray.

The host was enthusiastically waiting for us and showed us the way to the Campspace. However, the puddle through which we had to drive the mobile home was quite deep, which caused damage to the rear of the camper. Due to the bad weather it was very muddy everywhere and we almost got stuck. Probably a nice place in good weather but a less pleasant experience for us.

How was the contact with the host?
OK

Tips for new guests?
Nice place in the sun with the tent. Narrow path for mobile homes.

We enjoyed our stay in the caravan. Warm welcome from Jac, who gave some tips for the neighborhood and tasty fresh eggs from his chickens. We cooked on the campfire and warmed up to it. Everything for cooking is also present in an outdoor kitchen (gas stove, microwave, Senseo, kettle, pots, pans, crockery, ...). Electric fire in the caravan, so you don't have to suffer from the cold. Pluses are the tranquility, the child-friendly garden with many toys and the beautiful surroundings (Bonte beestenboel petting zoo and short legs path). Highly recommended!

It was a very cozy caravan, small but nice.

The hosts were very kind and we were allowed to use the kitchen outside, we could make a fire at the fireplace. There was no hot water or shower but for one night no problem .

A 5 star stay in the blauwbossen of hoogstraten. As a first experience with campspace the tone is set by very friendly hosts who make their moto of 'sharing their beautiful garden' with guests, fully true. With this kids paradise and the beautifully facilitated campsite, it will be very hard to meet the same high standards in a next experience! Thanks Jac and Lieve

At the beginning of August we stayed with our three children in Minderhout on the beautiful grounds of Jac and his wife.
It was wonderfully quiet, on the edge of a forest, with a view of a beautiful garden, under old large trees.
There were clean sanitary facilities and you could use a kitchen and the garden furniture that were there.
A lot was also provided for the children, so they were able to play fully, especially the go-cart with trailer and the swing were a success 😊.
The campfire was cozy and made for a nice evening meal.
A place where we felt very welcome and where we definitely want to come back.

We were warmly welcomed by Jac and his wife, with a drink on the terrace. We were given a tour of the domain, and were then able to settle in.
We had a super 4 day stay at this campspace. So peaceful, in the woods, waking up with the birds chirping. Beautiful area for walking.
A toilet and an outdoor kitchen are available on the camp space.
We could make campfire every night. The children had a great time there.

Our stay with Jac was perfect, a deluxe version of camping in the wild with an amazing space for kids. Jac and his wife were very kind. The spot has a kitchen, toilet and outdoor cold water shower, however we made little β€˜baths’ for the kids in a big bucket with the water cooker. Worked like a charm. There is an open fire spot, incl bbq set up, a mud kitchen, playhouse, trampoline etc etc. You can really tell that they have multiple grand kids :-) All in all, a great place to stay and we will definitely return.

The entrance with a monastery is not to be missed, with a large number of sheds and facilities in the garden behind it. The outdoor shower is indeed a bit cool, but if the sun is shining it can be nice! Although Jac was not at home upon our arrival (as indicated in advance), it was no problem to find the backyard and set up the tent. All amenities are clean and complete, the pre-stocked fridge with drinks and eggs for a small fee was a pleasant surprise! Do bring your own pans. Coffee maker with pads was also provided. Especially recommended for families with young children, many play facilities.-----Brandon recommends this place:::The contact with the hosts was great. They are very open and nice. .
