About this campspace

Come camp with us and enjoy peace, space and nature. Our natural camping site has spacious pitches between fruit trees and berry bushes with a view over the fields. In the immediate vicinity there are several nature reserves where you can enjoy cycling and walking.
The farm has comfortable and clean sanitary facilities, heated in the early and late season. We sell apple juice from apples from our own orchard, organic fair trade coffee and tea, beer, wine and ice cream.
Nearby are the heathlands of the Hijkerveld and the Witterveld, the Fochteloërveen with the cranes, the bird watching hut in Diependal and the Hooghalen forestry. You can swim in the nearby Baggelhuizerplas.
The Fochterloërveen is also within cycling distance, where cranes can now be found again and where the short-toed snake eagle has been spotted. The forests of the Hooghalen forestry are vast and quiet. Spruce and larches define the face. There are also beautiful heathlands and fens.
In Hooghalen you will also find the former Westerbork camp and Radio Observatory Astron.
Assen is only 8 kilometers. A visit to the Drents Museum is always worthwhile.
The famous TT circuit is located between Assen and our campsite.
The prison museum in Veenhuizen is also a fun trip for everyone.
Our camping site is car-free. The car is allowed to go to the camping site upon arrival and departure.
We also rent out log cabins and a furnished teepee.
