We are Marije Vonk-Heinen and Mattijs Vonk. In 2021 we emigrated from the Netherlands to the Vosges, together with our son Pelle (5 years old). Marije is originally a physiotherapist and Mattijs is a Communications Advisor and Designer.
We started a microglamping and organic garden in the Vosges, called 'Les Jardins de Biffontaine', because we want to live closer to nature, seek more variety in our lives and want to make a greater contribution to the local community. The fact that we are also true Francophiles has of course also played a major role.
We have started a new life with the main focus on running Les Jardins de Biffontaine. However, we both remain active in our own field. Marije still likes to give relaxation massages and works as a physiotherapist in the local hospital, while Mattijs is active online as a designer and communications and marketing advisor. Pelle goes to school in Biffontaine and fortunately seems very satisfied with his new life.
