About this campspace

Welcome to nature

Our idyllic country house with a pond and friendly cats that need to be cuddled and called Mokka & Tonic is located on a beautiful orchard. Our dog Eddi lives with us in the house and yard. The pitch is located on the old horse meadow and is ideally suited for tents, caravans, campers or vans with a power connection. We welcome dogs as long as they are cat-friendly.

This is what you can experience with us:

Our farm is located directly on the Ludgerus hiking trail and offers a great starting point for hikes and bike tours in the Baumberge. A day trip to Münster is also worthwhile. Visit the 13th-century St. Paul's Cathedral, built in the Gothic and Romantic style, stroll in the gardens of the baroque Münster Castle and visit the Pablo Picasso Art Museum.

I can only recommend the suggestions of the komoot app for bike tours or hikes.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

Rules

Our campspace is dog-friendly, as long as the four-legged friends accept our cats. Since we use the grass of the meadow for hay production or cows that graze, please remove any dog droppings! Please note that we have a large pond in the garden that is NOT fenced. It is therefore essential to pay attention to small children. It's not a swimming pond, but it's ideal for dogs to cool down.

We spent three nights there and everything is as described and shown in the pictures. The campspace is quiet and you stand between cows and an orchard. The whole farm is very well maintained and just fantastically beautiful. Just the right place to escape city life for a few days. A walk to Billerbeck is also not far and is worthwhile.

How was the contact with the host?
Sarah is very nice and friendly, replies quickly to messages and it was a pleasure to camp there :)

Tips for new guests?
In Billerbeck at the outdoor pool, there is a disposal station for grey/black water and waste.

There for the second time. Walked and cycled and read. I didn't need anything else. Wonderful will happen more often.

How was the contact with the host?
Thank you, but fortunately no obligations.

Nice quiet place. With 2 sockets. I was (luckily) alone with ripe plums and apples along the meadow where I was standing that I could pick freely. Close to Billerbeck, 10 minutes on folding bike. Beautifully walked and cycled. I would like to go there again in the spring.

How was the contact with the host?
Most friendly and enthusiastic. And left wonderfully in peace. I had bought my own boxio, a camper compost toilet with its own 'toilet tent'.

Tips for new guests?
Read about the special environment! Rich geological history, spring area with associated nature reserves.

Nice quiet place, with great views, close to Billerbeck
Only electricity available at the campsite, no other facilities, we were allowed to use the facilities, shower and toilet, in the house.
We were the only guests, with several guests there is a problem with the facilities, there is only one shower and toilet available, and two electricity points.

How was the contact with the host?
Fine, hospitable.

Tips for new guests?
Inquire in advance about the possibilities and availability of the facilities.

We were received very openly by the super enthusiastic hosts Sarah and Casper. We stayed overnight with the electric LEAVV camper in the beautiful garden/meadow and enjoyed the surroundings with fruit trees, an idyllic country house with pond and cute cats called gin & tonic. Our overnight stay ended with a nice surprise, so we were allowed to try out the zipline that they had attached between the trees. In short, a super Campspace.

How was the contact with the host?
Very nice and warm. We felt completely at ease and had nice conversations with Sarah and Casper. Sarah was so welcoming offering us morning coffee and allowed to use the bathroom. We left a nice message in the guestbook

Tips for new guests?
Looking for a Campspace where you feel completely at home in an idyllic setting? Here you are at the right place.

Top campspace in a very nice surrounding with natural views. Perfect spot for campervans with electricity available. If you spend some nights overthere it would be nice to have a toilet because there are no facilities to empty your own campertoilet. It's a perfect spot to start biking and hiking trips in Münsterland which is a bikers paradise.

On the campspace you can also sit in the splendid garden and enjoy the many birds.

How was the contact with the host?
Contact was ok. Sarah is very friendly host that gives you all the privacy you need. If you need her she will be around answering all your questions and providing you with all the info you need.

The only minus was that there was no goodbye on the day we left. After all, we did spend 3 days there.

Tips for new guests?
Take you bike and bike around in the beautiful Münsterland countryside. Komoot offers a lot of good bikingtrips.

There is a very nice trip starting in Billerbeck to Münster. Wonderful biking trip. Just follow the red signs starting in Billerbeck near the church.

We also combined some castles which are prolific in the regio. We combined 'Schloss Darfeld' and 'Schloss Värlar' in one day. We started the trip in Billerbeck and biked first to Nottuln which is also worth the visit.

Also a very worthwhile biking trip is starting in Billerbeck and biking all the way up to the nice village of Burgsteinfurt with the very beautiful castle 'Schloss Steinfurt'. After a walking tour in the town eat something and enjoy a 'sekt' in Schlossmühle Burgsteinfurt'. Top!

When visiting Münster go first to the Tourist Information Centre and ask for a map and things to do.
