Located in the quiet countryside of the Alcoutim district.
This is the perfect place to relax. Magnificent nature trails and cycle paths to the Vascao and Guadiana rivers and a breath-taking night sky, see the Milky Way on a clear night with telescopes for your viewing pleasure. "Arrive as a guest and leave as a friend".
Here you will find 10 well-spaced camper van pitches, a service area, hot showers, toilets and a barbecue area. A cafe terrace for sundowners and watching the beautiful sunsets. Water and electricity at nominal cost. Also tucked in nature "4x4 with tent" pitches or just tents and soon the 8 Lotus Belle tents will be available.

I arrived in Portugal 6 years ago from Zimbabwe via the UK. I came to "retire" but have had the time of my life building Shamwari Hilltop Retreat. I want to share the beauty of north eastern Algarve with you. A little gem in the wilderness. Come relax and enjoy.

This is a place to "just be".
We are respectful of our guests who want to enjoy the peace and tranquillity

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excluding Campspace fees). If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
