An unique spot just for you or with friends in a beautiful forest. The view offers a landscape of a variety of different trees and a young food forest. There is an official mountain bike trail through the forest of Teteringen, which is one of the best maintained trail of Brabant. Our forest is fenced with a small fence, so there is no trespassing of hikers or bikers. There is a compost toilet in our forest and fresh water is nearby at 200 meters. You are allowed to make a small fire only in the fire pit and use branches which are already on the ground. Please don't leave any rubbish in the forest. Smoking is not allowed due to possible forest fires.

Welcome! My name is Samantha Pellicaan-Dik, 44 heights young, together with my husband Quillermo we are the happy owners of a large piece of forest. We like to share this beautiful forest with nature lovers. I run my own company, SaPeDi, where I make beautiful products from the pruned wood that lies in the forest. I also give workshops in the forest, such as forest baths and meditation. My husband, Quillermo, is a fairly fanatic survival runner himself and has built a very run course with pruned trees. Last year (2019) we planted an entire food forest, which is still growing and which we spend a lot of love and time on. It is great to be in the forest, who knows, you might hear and see our buzzard!

A unique and special location! We have always wanted to sleep in a piece of forest without being afraid that the forester will come out from behind a tree. With Samantha, that dream has come true!

Your own place in the middle of the forest! If you're not averse to walking for some water and not averse to being dirty (no shower), then this is a wonderful place!

The highway is audible, but it didn't bother us for a moment. You can wake up in the early morning by cycling mountain bikers who like to have conversations at high speed and therefore cycle over the paths screaming.

How was the contact with the host?
Fine! Fast and friendly!

Tips for new guests?
Bring a large jerry can for water.

Beautiful camping spot on a private (and fenced) forest plot.
Nice that there is a (compost/sawdust) toilet.
The owners try to enjoy the forest in all kinds of ways through active forest management, creating a food garden and, last but not least, by building a real official survival course.
The nearby motorway unfortunately gives a background noise, and the mosquitoes unfortunately did not leave us untouched. But yes, that's nature too.
All in all, a nice camping spot on a beautiful and secluded forest plot. You have a wonderfully free feeling.

How was the contact with the host?
Fine, we were well and actively welcomed and guided around the site.

Tips for new guests?
Public water tap a few hundred meters from the plot, at the Cadetterzand car park. Make sure you have enough water bags, jerry cans or something similar for fetching and storing water.
Be prepared for mosquitoes.

A beautiful forest to relax in and leave the rushed life behind

How was the contact with the host?
Good! Nice contact in advance, a tour through the forest on arrival and a pleasant conclusion afterwards

Tips for new guests?
Take something from a water reservoir with you if you don't want to leave the forest during your stay if you are doing a (mini) retreat like me. There is a nice water tap a few hundred meters outside the forest.

We thought it was a beautiful place and we would love to come back again. It was also very special to be the only campers allowed to stay in the forest. As a result, there was a lot of peace and privacy.

How was the contact with the host?
The contact in advance was fine and clear. On arrival, Samantha also gave us an extensive tour of the forest. Afterwards she also inquired about how our stay was. All in all a very nice host!

I was looking for a place for myself, in nature. A place to relax, meditate and reflect. I definitely found that place! A piece of forest with nothing else. Perfect for what I wanted to do for 2 nights. There is a toilet and water is also a short walk away. As far as I'm concerned, that's just enough for easy camping. Top location and highly recommended for anyone who wants to escape the crowds and come to themselves in a minimalistic way.
I would definitely recommend a meditation session with Samantha for enthusiasts!

How was the contact with the host?
The contact was nice, correct and very smooth!

What a super nice place! Here you camp in a beautiful piece of diverse forest that you have to yourself for your overnight stay(s). I think that the feeling of wild camping in the Netherlands (which is unfortunately not allowed) comes closest here. We had only booked one night, but would have liked to stay longer anyway.

How was the contact with the host?
Good! Samantha responds quickly to text messages and was ready to give us a tour of her piece of greenery. Very nice to know more about the place where you are going to sleep and what is there and to see in terms of nature.

Tips for new guests?
Especially: go here if you like that into the wild feeling. Here you sleep completely without other guests and not directly in someone's garden, so it cannot be compared with other campsites or camping spots in the Netherlands. In the evening, make a fire in the campfire pit with collected wood and during the day take a walk or relax with your camping equipment. Just book ;-)

A real forest experience all to yourself. Private. Interesting to hear what's growing and how the hosts have handled it so far. You can easily cycle to Breda or Oosterhout. Beautiful walking and cycling routes. You are next to the highway but you get used to that noise. The offgrid toilet really very neat and clean.

How was the contact with the host?
Nice contact. Clear explanation at the start. It's also fascinating to hear what they've been up to in the woods.

Tips for new guests?
Nice cycling

We camped very well. Here you really have the feeling that you are camping in the wild. Beautiful forest where you can relax. The survival track is also very nice. In the evening sitting cozy by the campfire makes it complete.
We enjoyed and will definitely come back.

How was the contact with the host?
We were kindly received by Samantha. She showed us where everything was and told us about the forest and what to do in the area.

Tips for new guests?
Beautiful natural environment where you can walk. If you like mountain biking, there is a mountain bike trail.

We were kindly received by Samantha who could tell us extensively about their forest. The assault course that we were also allowed to use was well put together and is also used regularly. There was a nice fire pit and wood at the camping site so that we could light a small fire. There was also an outside toilet.

How was the contact with the host?
The contact was good, she told us everything about the forest, the changes they have made.

Weekend camping in the woods. Beautiful grounds and very nice (walking) environment. In the forest received extensive explanation about the trees and the (food) forest. The forest was not yet ripe for food, but I did discover a huge amount of raspberries nearby. Can you find them too? Tip: a piece of heath on the left at the entrance of a forest. Worth it not just for the raspberries. Also spotted a buzzard pair in/around the forest. A nice addition could be a watchtower. On Sunday I also did a meditation in the forest with a personal and nice guidance and setting.
On my first day there were campers present who made more noise than I expected. That was a pity. But I consider this an incident. Not common in my opinion. I'd love to come back!

Clear contact and very friendly. It is a beautiful unique place in a private forest where - due to the limited number of campers that are allowed - tranquility is guaranteed. In addition to your hiking boots, bring some clothes for climbing and scrambling on the impressive self-built obstacle course on site

We were received kindly and patiently. First time for us and a great experience! Kindly received by Samantha, beautiful surroundings and many animals spotted on the property such as buzzard, deer, squirrel and bats. The highway makes some noise, but you don't hear that anymore after an hour. We definitely recommend it

We enjoyed our camping adventure.
Patricia was very friendly and her story about their forest was very interesting.
They have already done a lot of work with the piece of young forest and the survival course is really cool (and very challenging!)
We liked that primitive feeling and we slept well too
I hope we can go again soon because it is a unique place in a beautiful environment!

It was a nice place to spend the night outside. I enjoyed the birds.
The environment with the sand drifts is beautiful.
Don't expect an idyllic spot in the woods, because the highway and the illuminated gas station are visible and audible next to it. And from the terrain you can clearly see that a lot of work is being done to revitalize the piece of forest. The owner Samantha talked about it very enthusiastically. I'd love to come back again.

This was a prime location for us! Lots of nature to walk in, a private piece of forest with a fire pit, but still close to a supermarket. It is possible that people use the survival track, but you won't notice that on the other side of the forest. Samantha was very friendly and helpful.

We had a complete family weekend in a very beautiful piece of nature. The contact was super easy and friendly from the start. Samantha gave us a tour and gave us all the important information. You really notice that they really love nature and are happy to share it with guests. Despite a lot of wind we were able to take a nice walk and light a nice fire in the evening. On Sunday we also did one of the mountain bike routes which is definitely recommended. Through Samantha we got the contact where we could borrow bicycles. We will definitely come back again.

We had a very nice stay in the private forest of Samantha and Quillermo! A survival course has been built at the beginning of the forest, with wood from the forest. Super cool, but quite difficult to do!! Still a fun and active activity if you stay here. We were all alone in the woods with the camper, wonderful! In the evening we made a campfire and enjoyed the peace. You can hear the highway in the background, which is not far from here. But that didn't really bother us. We were early in the season so not much vegetation yet, but we can imagine that in a few weeks the forest will be beautiful! The food forest they are working on is also super fun! Very cool to see that so much attention is paid to nature!

The location in Teteringen was very cool. A private forest with no entertainment and facilities other than a fire pit and a shovel in case you needed to 'go'. Maybe not enough for everyone but it was just what we needed this weekend. Samantha was quick to respond via the website and welcomed us into their forest upon arrival. After she and her husband left We got the fire going in no time and we prepared a stew that we'd let simmer over the flames for a couple of hours while we explored the campsite. Morning came too soon and we look forward to coming back.

It's a nice place to be, I have seen bunnies and falcons near the camping site.
The owners were nice and showed me the way to the supermarket which was a bit further up. I do recommend taking a larger water bottle with you, because it's a short walk to the pump.

There was also a fire pit. You can go mountain biking very well, lots of trails and a beautiful area. to do this.
Definitely recommended for a walk in the dunes.

The only point was that I found it a pity, is that there is a car along the forest and you hear it now and then. So it is not completely silent. But rarely in Dutch places so...

So nice place!

The private forest of Samantha is the ideal place to spend a few days outside and relax with your family or friends. The only thing you have to worry about is whether the fire is still burning well. I couldn't have wished for a better place in the Netherlands for primitive camping. The area is also beautiful and has enough to offer for a few days of hiking and/or mountain biking. Samantha is also very helpful and responds quickly when you have questions.

It is advisable to bring a large jerry can for water because the tap is a short walk from the site

Super nice place in a private forest! Samantha had given us a nice tour and told us about all the plans they still have, such as the food forest, the shivers they make for the hedgehogs and the abundance of birds that visit the forest. Also present was a nice fire pit with enough firewood which we have made good use of ;-)
The only downside was that there was no toilet facility.

If you are looking for a gorgeous setting for your next primitive camping trip this is the perfect spot! The Campspace offers exactly what we look for when we plan a minimalistic outdoor experience. Situated on a nice stretch of private forest where we could build our tarp shelter with a proper fire pit to keep us warm and to cook our dinner. The Campspace also offers a challenging obstacle course which adds to the survival setting. The surrounding area is also very forested and has great opportunities for hiking and mountain biking. Samantha is a very helpful and friendly hostess. She was very eager to accomodate any specific requests we had and took the time to send us a tip as to where we could possibly go to rent bikes. We had an amazing time during our stay which was far too short to experience and see all of these things. Therefore we would be eager to come and visit this place again soon!

A quiet getaway to reconnect with nature

I had a very relaxing stay in the middle of the woods, surrounded by trees, squirrels and a lot of fresh air. A perfect place for a quiet getaway and to reconnect with nature... Samantha was a very open and kind host who showed me around the site when I arrived. She gives mediation workshops in the forrest as well if you are interested. I will revisit this campspace again whenever I feel the urge tot escape the fast life.
