We finally managed to get a nice piece of land plus a house! We are going to realize our dream of a food forest, fruit meadow, vegetable garden and herb garden (I am a herbalist). We would like to share this with conscious-living, non-smoking people, who also love nature and want to expand it and possibly extend it to us. want to provide tips or help.

Tips

  • In Valkenburg aan de Geul you can enjoy yourself all day with or without children.

  • Listen to the rehearsal of the local marching band on Sunday morning.

  • Visit the fresh market in Geleen on Saturday, or the fabric market in Sittard on Thursday

  • The most beautiful pub is in Valkenburg aan de Geul; King Henry

  • Kasteel Terborgh is a super cozy restaurant with a terrace, 10 minutes by bike, on the other side of the village
