Tips

  • Les Rochettes is the perfect base for hundreds of kilometers of hiking trails.

  • The Sioule winds its way through the region. In addition to the classic water activities (kayak, rafting, ...), this river and its surroundings offer numerous beautiful hotspots.

  • Within half an hour you can visit numerous villages with their typical markets where local - mostly organic - products are offered.

  • Coffee or Ricard on a no-nonsense terrace, not too numerous but certainly present ;)

  • In fifteen minutes you can reach Pionsat or Saint Gervais d'Auvergne, where you will find (a limited range of) restaurants and bars. No culinary excesses, but honest and local.
