We had a great experience here! There was no one else there except in the cottage so we could stand wherever we wanted. You stand next to the sheep in their lovely heather garden; some sheep also walk between the tents. We had what felt like an endless view over the farmlands with running cows. The sunset colored everything a deep orange and the low fog (white wieven) made it seem as if the transition from the land to the clear starry sky was a painting. Several water and power points have been constructed that can be used free of charge. A beautiful fire pit has been built and we were able to toilet and shower in their house. Their most affectionate cat will suck your fingers if you let him πŸ˜‚ The host is also very friendly, open and sociable. When we saw the beautiful poster in the toilet, we knew we were in the right place (if you know, you know). We will come back here 100% for sure. An unforgettably great first camping experience for a friend who has never slept in a tent.

How was the contact with the host?
Perfect! She responds quickly and arranges everything you need. In addition, she is also very pleasant.

Tips for new guests?
Turn the entrance of your tent towards the farmlands and you will wake up in an oasis. Pet the lambs. Let the cat suck your fingers. Check out the poster in the toilet. Give the owner a present.

Lovely place to camp. Nice view of cows and between the sheep. You can really relax in this place. We were at the very back of the property where we had a lot of privacy. Because of the minimal light pollution, the stars were beautiful to see at night.
The only point for improvement that we could think of is to make a separate toilet and shower building, so that you do not have to enter the owner's house. Although the shower and toilet were very clean and spacious.

How was the contact with the host?
They were very friendly and ready to help. For example, we forgot to bring a bottle opener, but luckily we were able to borrow it from them without a problem. They were also very relaxed with the arrival and departure times.

Tips for new guests?
We enjoyed it very much, so we definitely recommend camping here. Furthermore, the city of Groningen is a half hour drive, so definitely a must to visit.

We were in a nice shady place with a view of the cow pasture and sheep around the tent. Fantastic little spot as there was a heat wave going on. Thanks to the trees and the wind, we didn't have much trouble with that. In the evening the moon in the tent. It was really beautiful.

Quiet place for camping. On the property were a couple with a tent and the chalet was occupied. So 3 places on a large property surrounded by nature and sheep. Plumbing was a short walk away, but we had no problems with that.

Prachtig plekje uitgekozen voor de tent. Ik zag s'avonds in de verte de lampjes. Het zag er gezellig maar beslist niet storend uit.

Very beautiful region!
Nice meadow with a mobile home and place to put up tents. There are various animals such as cows and goats in surrounding meadows.

How was the contact with the host?
I have been very warmly received! There was an old caravan that Mirjam had specially cleaned up. This way I could hide in it if necessary because they had predicted bad weather. There is also a folder with general information and some cycling and walking routes in the area.

It really is a very beautiful area!

A very nice welcome, Mirjam is super nice and we were lucky that we had the whole field to ourselves. Expect a rural but primitive place. You have to be able to handle the sheep poo. We loved waking up among the lambs!

A location in the "Middle of Nothing". We were warmly welcomed and shown around the site. We were alone, so we could choose where we wanted to stand. We chose a spot at the back among the fruit trees. Since we cook on a fire, we made sure that there were no burns in the grass. There were some tiles that we could use for this. In the evening some sheep came to see how we camped there. Had a great night in the fog. Woke up quietly in the morning and left again during the day.

How was the contact with the host?
We were warmly welcomed by Mirjam and well guided around the site. Since there are a few sheep walking around there, she ensures that any poop is cleaned up. In the evening she came to see if everything was to your liking.

Toilet and shower are very clean and tidy. Highly recommended!

How was the contact with the host?

A beautiful place if you like peace and nature. At first we had to look through the somewhat messy yard, but that was no problem at all. We stood in a beautiful spot, with a view of storks, redstart, accompanied by the sound of golden orioles. We made 2 campfires, lured light and grease moths and enjoyed the shooting stars.
Sometimes we were alone, sometimes there were a few other guests. The sanitary facilities are fine.

How was the contact with the host?
Perfect, we receive a quick and friendly response in advance and during the stay the contact with Mirjam and Egon was very nice.

Tips for new guests?
Bring your bike, a round through the Kropswolder Buitenpolder or 't Roegwold is great fun. Spoonbills, white-cheeked terns, wood sandpipers and all kinds of other birds can be admired along the way for the enthusiast.

Mirjam was very nice and welcoming. During our stay we were surprised by heavy rain, for which we were allowed to use the caravan as a shelter. We enjoyed our stay. The site is large enough to find your own spot. Several power points are available. We had chosen a spot where we had an unobstructed view, with the sheep as neighbours. The sanitary facilities are neat and clean. Partly due to the hospitality and helpfulness of Mirjam, we had a very nice stay.

During our stay we explored the area by car, but it is also recommended to cycle in the area. We also visited the beautiful city of Groningen.

We really liked our stay in Woudbloem. It was great to have so much space. As we were the only ones at the land we felt like we had a lot of privacy. We enjoyed the great view, the birds and the sheep around us. There is a toilet (a little walk away though) and an outside shower. Our host Mirjam was really friendly and welcoming.

Friendly welcome. We had 5 nights in complete rest on the land of Mirjam. Also because we were alone. But there is plenty of space even with more guests. In the evening we saw shooting stars in the clear sky. Use of toilet and shower is well arranged. Separate from the home because of Corona. From the place you can do everything by bike. Shopping 3 km away in Harkstede. And many cycling paths through beautiful nature reserves

Nice view, very friendly people with whom we had fun and interesting conversations. A super place that should remain β€œsecret” as far as I am concerned
