We immediately felt at home on Günther's and his family's "little farm". There is a lot to discover and a lot to play for children. The two running ducks Donald and Daisy were too funny.
How was the contact with the host?
Very warm welcome, very receptive to the whole family, shown around immediately, able to choose a seat
Tips for new guests?
Take your bikes with you and ride through the beautiful Wahner Heide (and once around Cologne-Bonn Airport including plane spotting) or take the passenger ferry across to the other side of the Rhine and then ride to the cathedral - Günther will help with tips for excursions

There were three of us with the bikes and the tents and we had an overnight stay here. Great terrain, which we unfortunately couldn't really enjoy because of the bad weather. Nevertheless, we were able to take a deep breath for our last stage and felt very welcome.
How was the contact with the host?
The contact was quick and completely straightforward. The hosts were really nice and especially helpful. We arrived drenched and were able to sleep the night in a dry house with an adjoining caravan, so that we no longer had to pitch our tent in the rain. Toilet and washing / rinsing facilities were available. We would show up here again
