Your host

Pim

Welcome to Nisse, the most beautiful village in the Waardevol Cultuur Landschap Zak van Zuid-Beveland. We live with our 3 foster children in our self-built ecological home.
Our garden of 1 ha is located between the village of Nisse and the main road from Heinkenszand to 's Gravenpolder.
There is an ornamental garden, standard orchard with meadow garden, a vegetable garden with bees, a small greenhouse and a forest (with more bees) and an orchard with old fruit trees. And always a beautiful view of the Maria Church of Nisse. There is a large trampoline for the children (use at your own risk).
A refrigerator is provided.
Nisse is located in a beautiful hedge area where you can walk and cycle. The sea and the beach are also nearby.
We can set up one of our tents for you in advance (for longer periods). Nisse is located on the LAW borderland path (stage 4) and the Scheldt-Rhein cycle route (LF13)

Hi Pim, I think I already sent a message, but now again;
beautiful place in 'The Garden of Eede'. Here you can eat apples from the tree (September only!) without being sent out of paradise.
Nice area near Nisse to take a walk.

How was the contact with the host?
Nice, nice host

Tips for new guests?
Stay longer than one night and eat the stew on Saturday in the Dorpshuus

It is an exceptional place made by exceptional people. We were only there for one night, but that was enough to understand the quality and care with which the garden has been built over the years. Everything is very tastefully designed and the respect for nature is great. We stood with a camper in a tree beard between the ripe apple trees. In the background you only hear birds and the sympathetic bells of the church tower of Nisse, which was also a discovery for us. In short: a refined place and an extremely well-kept garden.

How was the contact with the host?
Very pleasant: communication is smooth and Pim is extremely helpful. We only arrived after 22:00 and that turned out to be no problem. Extremely warm-hearted man with a gift for good taste.

We had 4 wonderful nights in the beautiful garden of Pim and Bert.
We were allowed to pick a spot in the large garden and have a delicious snack of all the fruit trees and shrubs.
We felt very welcome and we recommend this camping spot to everyone!

How was the contact with the host?
The contact with Pim and Bert was very pleasant. They show interest and give tips for fun trips! We came up short with 4 nights, because we could have enjoyed ourselves much longer in the beautiful garden and beautiful surroundings. On our last evening Bert took us to climb the church tower and we enjoyed the beautiful view for a while.

Tips for new guests?

The place is really beautiful and super well maintained. A feast for the eyes. The toilets, a real pleasure since I was the only one to use them, were very clean and perfect. Very friendly reception!!! There was plenty of time to show me around and answer all questions. I was very kindly received by Pim, who gave me a tour of their beautiful garden, very clean sanitary facilities and washing up facilities. I was allowed to choose a spot in the beautiful, large orchard. Plenty of space to stand in the shade under rustic apple trees, with a view of the beautiful church of Nisse. A little later I received very nice explanations and tips from Bert, with regard to the environment, including all kinds of leaflets and route maps. I immediately felt welcome and there was plenty of time to answer any questions. The view, the tranquility, the many birds, the beautiful (vegetable) garden. Everything very neatly maintained. Just a paradise! This Campspace is highly recommended! Pim and Bert, thank you again for the wonderful stay and your hospitality! You are treasures!

We were welcomed by Pim, who showed us his fantastic garden. Beautiful flower garden and an orchard. We were allowed to sit our van in a nice spot. Bert told us a lot about the environment, the pocket of South Beveland.
Because of Corona we were the only guests who used the sanitary facilities. We thought that was a very safe idea.
The area is wonderful for cycling and walking.
We will definitely come back in the spring.

Small paradise in the hedge and fruit tree landscape. We were warmly welcomed, then we were given a tour of the entire site. After this we were allowed to choose a place for our tent. Pim and Bert have just started this micro campsite, the sanitary facilities are brand new and look very neat. There are several power/water points on the field and there are plans to make a sink for the camping guests, there is also a B&B on the site. You camp in a relaxing fruit orchard of this great garden (which you can almost call a park). The garden consists of an orchard, an ornamental garden, a greenhouse and several beehives. Here you hardly have the idea that you are camping in someone's garden.Pim and Bert are very nice/helpful people. For example, we were allowed to make a fire in a barrel and there were currants and to top it off we could visit the church of Nisse, including a great view from the tower (with explanation about the area). Additional information is available about the area, which is suitable for beautiful walks and/or bike rides. We have completely relaxed here! Extra information:
- Nisse is Zeeland for Nose
- Many fruit growers in the area where a number of fruit machines are located with; apples, cherries, strawberries, jam, etc
- The sheepfold on the edge of the hedge area, fun for children.
- Various beautiful walks and bike rides (ask Bert)
- Make campfire in a fire barrel including wood
- Pim .'s hives
- Pim's garden is featured in various (garden) magazines
- Leaflets/cards available
- Brand new sanitary facilities
- Water and electricity points available on site
- Trampoline for the kids
- At 20 to 30 minutes from Middelburg and Vlissingen
- Supermarkets in the nearby villages
- Catering in the village itself
- Zeeland at its best
