Hello campers! After a two-year break, we welcome you back to our little corner of nature. The grass grew back, new trees were planted, enclosures were redone. Resilient nature continues to amaze us...
In the Middle Ages, the temple inn already welcomed travelers to this location. Today, our windmill, built at the beginning of the 19th century and which produced flour until 1957, continues to see walkers: the GR3 passes in front of our house.
Besné is part of the Brière Regional Natural Park.
30 minutes from the coast.
5 minutes by car from the Vannes-Nantes dual carriageway.
5 minutes from the St-Nazaire-Nantes dual carriageway.
We are in the countryside, with no neighbors nearby… oh yes, cows!
Beautiful spot for bird watching during the day and star watching at night. Besides, we are an LPO Refuge.
It is an autonomous place: photovoltaic panels for electricity, drilling and rainwater recovery tanks, phytopurification and dry toilets.
Every day, we become aware of our impact on the environment.
On our 1.7 ha land, we have dwarf goats, laying hens and bees.
Activities
The temple mill is really a great stopover for GR3 hikers, cycle hikers, fans of simplicity in nature, a quiet corner to recharge your batteries, rest, meditate, etc. possible traffic jams at the hammocks!
For swimmers, from Pénestin to St Brevin, many beaches are nearby +/- 30 min.

After a backpacking trip around the world, Fabien and I decided to put our bag down in this magical place. The isolation of the place gives us a great feeling of freedom. We love side roads and sincere, touching encounters. Today, we try to welcome the traveler with as much kindness as we have been welcomed in our travels.
