A lovely place outside the village and you can look over the fields. It is relaxed, although every now and then a fighter jet from the military airport flies over. That's a bit of a shock the first time, but they don't fly all day. When we were there from 10 a.m. to max. 5 p.m. and not constantly. Above all, it was a fantastic place.

Luc is hospitable and lets you go about your business as a camper.

With our luxury car and caravan, the last 800 meters were an exciting adventure. The road is full of potholes and it is quite a bit of zigzagging. If you have a car that is a little higher on the wheels, then there is no problem.

Enjoyed the total peace and quiet. Although the chalet is located in Luc's garden, and therefore close to their private life, you don't notice much of it once you are immersed in the peace and quiet. And that happens quickly :-) During the occasional take-offs and landings of who knows what else at the neighboring military airport, absolutely NO noise can be heard, of course with the exception of what nature offers. With a lot of rain in recent weeks, my 20 km walk was occasionally interrupted by difficult passages, but that also made it more adventurous... Also spotted two deer just before arrival. That's how remote it is. The chalet itself is DIY and you can tell by everything. I always find this an enrichment, so you won't hear me complaining, on the contrary. Everything was there and especially the stove and a stove are what really matter in the end (but don't worry, there are plenty of pots, pans, knives, etc.). Very fair price too. I will come back, this time with my girlfriend!
