About this campspace

Hello,

We are Marion and Thierry.
Thierry has always worked on the family farm, and has been an organic farmer since 2001.
Marion, partner and daughter-in-law, settled on the farm in 2009, state-qualified equestrian teacher with the certificate of practice for the disabled, is more particularly involved in equestrian, educational and creative activities....

Today, we are winegrowers for our village's wine cooperative. We also grow vines for table grapes from August to October, and black olive trees of the Tanche variety for local oil and retail olives. Since 2021, we've been producing our own T80 semi-complete flour from our soft wheat, and rounding out our range with petit épeautre, a local specialty in grain and flour. We make all the hay for our 2 horses and 4 donkeys. The horses and donkeys are on hand for the equestrian, educational and leisure activities proposed and supervised by Marion. We are members of the "Racines PACA" network of rural environmental education farms.

After a hiatus in our equestrian and educational activities, we'd like to get back to work in a broader and more varied form with complementary practices. We've long been keen to welcome overnight guests to our grounds. As well as welcoming campers and riders in all simplicity, we offer a number of activities for those who feel like it:
*educational workshops and artistic creations around the living world, with a sensitive approach to rural ecology.
*activities based on our profession as farmers.
*Discovery of the animal world, learning activities, sensations and emotions with horses and donkeys.

2023 was our first real year at the campsite. 2024 is here, with a lot of changes, and we're very excited about this new adventure, which we're offering to all nature lovers, those curious about the world of agriculture, campers just passing through, and all those who just want to camp freely in a wide open space.
To get you started on this 2-hectare site, the facilities are simple and basic, in a pretty, slightly wild wood extended by a partly fenced-in meadow to share the reception area with campers, riders and horses...
All fixtures and fittings are homemade, using only recycled materials. This beautiful place will continue to develop and reveal itself over time, while retaining its natural character.
We're doing our utmost to ensure that our new seeds of hospitality... will bring you and us... pleasant shared moments and happy memories.
We look forward to meeting you at the crossroads.
Thierry and Marion

This small wood bordered by its meadow is fairly easy to access, as the small local road runs alongside the wood below.
We have a 1st access just after the vineyard on the left, suitable for medium-sized vehicles. In addition, we've created a wide access on the left just after the little wood that leads directly up to the meadow for motorhomes and caravans.....

*2,000 m2 of wooded space are available for small and medium-sized tents in the woods,
plus the 18,000 m2 fenced-in meadow for caravans, vans, large tents and, of course, horses. This year there are no horse shelters.
New for 2024: rental of 2 caravans (see equipment).

*Traffic is relatively calm here, as the road ends in paths. It is therefore used by local residents and farmers. However, you should be aware that farmers can be early risers.

*The area is still wild and home to many birds.

*We're in the south, so we're lucky enough to have lots of light, lucky enough to be lulled by the song of the cicadas on the pines and oaks, and lucky enough to be able to marvel under a beautiful starry sky.

*The landscapes are very varied, passing through vineyards, olive groves and forest, on the slopes of our beautiful hills on the border with the Drôme or descending towards the river. A Provencal country atmosphere in the famous sunshine.

The activities
You can take part in all the activities we offer. We've organized them into several categories for greater clarity.

Good morning

We are Marion and Thierry.
Thierry, a lifelong farmer on the family farm and in Organic Farming since 2001.
Marion, partner and daughter-in-law, installed on the farm in 2009 (state-certified equestrian teacher with disabled practice certificate) takes particular care of campers, equestrian, educational, educational, creative activities....

Today we are wine growers for our village cooperative.
We also grow table grapes, olive trees and some cherry trees. Since 2021 we have also made our own brown flour made from our wheat and spelled in addition.
We produce all our hay for our 2 horses and 2 donkeys present for educational and quiet leisure equestrian activities. Since April 2, 2024 two young donkeys have arrived at our home and for the moment they are being educated.

We are members of the PACA “Racines” network of Environmental Education farms in rural areas. After a break from our equestrian and educational activities, we would like to get back to work in a broader form of reception and with additional tools. We have been wanting to host overnight stays on our land for a long time. With this welcome of campers and also riders with their mounts, in all simplicity and great modesty, we will gradually offer à la carte several educational, creative and artistic activities as well as a visit to the world of horses from a different perspective. On this 2ha land, the facilities are sober and basic, in a pretty, slightly wild little wood extended by a partly fenced meadow to share the campers/animals space when they are there... For a night or a time, we are embarking on this beautiful adventure of sharing and discoveries.
