About this campspace

What makes our place unique is its geography. Indeed, Denmark is a rather flat country, and we live in a hilly area, a small mount by the forest. Nature is integral, all around, and it is this that creates the magic and serenity of the place.

Although located near the forest and just a 10-minute bike ride from the sea, our house is adjacent to a road, so there is some traffic. Fortunately, on weekends and during summer holidays, the traffic slows down, allowing us to enjoy the birds' songs. Additionally, we are surrounded by absolutely charming neighbors. We love this proximity; we find it reassuring and fun. We help each other out.

The activities
We live amidst many possibilities. You can enjoy marine activities: boating, canoeing, swimming. On land: walking, cycling, long hikes, jogging. Plus, shopping, theater, restaurant and cinema are just a 5-6 minute drive away.

Other things
If you love nature and plants, the variety of wildlife and flora is a true delight for green-thumbed enthusiasts.

What makes our garden unique is that it is built on multiple levels, each with its own charm and function. As we ascend, the garden becomes freer and wilder. We try to collaborate with nature, reserving a bit of space for ourselves and a lot for wildlife and vegetation. The multi-level design allows us to choose our favorite spot of the day, take a chair, and settle in to read a good book or let our imagination and creativity flow, like painting. Our garden is lit from morning to night. The light plays with the terrain, enhancing its beauty at different times of the day.

The sanitary facilities
Unfortunately, we do not have dry or outdoor toilets; we have indoor toilets. That's why we only offer a maximum of two nights in our little paradise.

The amenities
We have fresh water available outside the house from a tap. We also have a barbecue, a garden table and chairs, and a swing chair.There is no shower or bathroom outside, but we provide toiletries for a quick wash outdoors. We do not share our bathroom. However, we live a 5-minute bike ride from a sports center where you can shower after a day at the pool. We also have large tubs that can serve as bathtubs for small children.There is wireless internet access.

We have a tent for 3-4 people and an individual tent for 1 adult or 2 children, depending on their size.

Your host, Blandine

Hello everyone. My name is Blandine, and I live in Denmark with my son Emil and my partner Rasmus. We also have an older son, Anton, who lives in his own nest. I am naturally curious and drawn to nature. I love experiencing the beauty of everyday life in its smallest details. I'm an optimistic dreamer. It's been 15 years now since I moved to Denmark, and I still adore the magnificent springtime light; summer is equally lovely and unique.

We live in a house in the forest, just 10 minutes from the city by bike. Our garden is on several levels, not very large but quite original in this flat country. We have a tent space to offer in our garden, for one or maybe two nights maximum. You can park your bikes with us. However, cars or campers will need to stay in a parking lot in the city, which isn't a problem.

So, if you're wanderers on bikes, on foot, or on a motorcycle, if you appreciate simple moments and joyful, enriching exchanges, you're welcome to a refreshing stop in the Skovsbovej forest. See you soon.
