About this campspace

Enjoy the peace and nature at the back of our neighborhood among the farmlands. Hidden behind greenery. Enjoying the sounds of various birds. On a quiet road with mostly local traffic and many cyclists, walkers, but also sometimes agricultural vehicles.
A beautiful sunset and clear starry sky. Spotting deer at the back of the field and across the street from our house is a small-scale nature reserve for partridges and pheasants. We even have foxes next to our house. These also visit us in the garden several times.

You can easily reach beautiful Fochteloerveen and Appelscha by bike. The center of Smilde is quickly and easily accessible at approximately 1 km with a shopping center with supermarket Jumbo and Aldi, Action, Kruidvat
a butcher, clothing store and bookstore, a chip shop and cafe. Behind our house you can also go to our neighbors for BBQ meat from their veal farm and fresh eggs.
We enjoy living here and want to share this extra space with you. The orchard is grassland and there are no permanent places.
It is small-scale, choose your own spot. Of course, taking the other campers into account.
Please observe silence from 10:30 PM.
Dog owners also like to clean up dog poop neatly.

We have electricity and a cold and hot water point and the entire garden has WiFi.
We just got a new toilet and shower facility. Combined in one room. There is a small staircase to reach the plateau where the sanitary unit and washing facilities are located.
For a small fee of €3.50 you can do laundry at our home, provided our washing machine is free at that time.
There is a clothes dryer behind our house where you can dry your laundry.
Price of 15 euros money for 2 people for 1 place for extra people we charge 7.50 euros pp

Tips

  • There is a wellness area at De Jonkershof, 2 neighborhoods further away on the Jonkerswijk. We have an indoor swimming pool in Smilde on the Boerenlaan and an outdoor swimming pool in Hoogersmilde.

  • Cycling enthusiasts can indulge themselves in this beautiful cycling environment. Our garden is adjacent to a cycle path from where you can cycle to the beautiful Fochteloerveen within a few km.

  • A nice shopping center with supermarket, bakery, butcher, Action, Kruidvat, flower shop and clothing store is 1 km away. At Fa Bosma, about 1 km towards Hoogersmilde, you can exchange your gas bottle for a full one

  • There is a pub about 2 km away.

  • There is a nice chip shop about 1 km away. There are 2 shawarma shops. A wok palace.
