About this campspace

Christophe and Olivier will welcome you with pleasure and simplicity in their home, on the site of an old train station, in the heart of Berry, only a few kilometers from George Sand's house, in Nohant.

Partly wooded land, on the edge of the forest. The proximity of the D927 road will allow you to access the property with ease, whatever your mode of transportation. The road is not visible from the tent sites which will be reserved for you.

The activities
We will share with you, if you wish, our passions and our know-how. Christophe is a writer-biographer, passionate about George Sand and her family in particular, and 19th century authors in general. Olivier is a wellness masseur and practices on site. In Sarzay, you can discover the beautiful medieval castle and, in the close surroundings, the whole universe of George Sand (the Angibault mill, the devil's pond, Nohant, Gargilesse...). Hiking is also accessible in the vicinity, starting from our house.

Other things
Simplicity and conviviality!
We draw the attention of parents of young children to the presence of a small artificial pond (3 m by 2 m) which is not secured. The departmental road, located at a hundred meters, as well as the small road of the station which skirts the property, can generate a certain flow. We welcome you from 9 am to 6 pm (outside these hours, thank you to see in advance with the owners).

The ground, of a surface of approximately 1 hectare, is partly raised and flat, and will enable you to install your tent in all peace. It is enclosed. We accept animals; we have chickens, ducks and geese.

The sanitary facilities
Our house, an old railroad station, will allow you to use our bathroom (shower and toilet, located on the second floor). The hours of access to the bathroom of the house will be defined with the owners at your arrival.

The amenities
The water outside is not drinkable (well water). Of course you can get drinking water directly from us.

For motorhomes and caravans, if you wish to connect to electricity, a supplement of 5 € per night will be asked.

A breakfast can be offered to you, if we are informed sufficiently in advance (minimum 48 hours), for a price of 5 € per person.

- Animals are accepted (please pick up after your dog).
