About this campspace
The land planted with large trees and surrounded by a hedge separating it from a field, embellishes the small granite house, at the end of the village Sainte Marguerite de Carrouges, classified for its church.
No noise pollution but birds singing are guaranteed.

The activities
The region, located in the regional park Normandie-Maine, is very wooded, it is a place of possible excursion with the GR22.
Cultural visits with the castle of Carrouges (2,5 km), Alençon, Argentan (lace museums), and Sées with its cathedral...diversify the outings.
A leisure center with swimming at La Ferté Macé and just next door a horse riding center...
Other things
The village is located 2 km from Carrouges where you can visit its very charming castle and the Maison du Parc Maine-Normandie (tourist information and local products etc...)
For the amateurs, an organic cider factory in Ste Marguerite sells its production on the spot. A small market on Wednesday mornings sells good products, with a special mention for the gruyère cheese from Carrouges.
And then again "Véloscénie" passes through Carrouges to take you to the Mont Saint Michel .
It is a simple welcome.
A bit like wild camping, but with the comfort offered by the access to the house.
Walkers and cyclists are welcome, as are others.

I chose to live in the countryside in this charming village in Orne, in 2016. I take pleasure in enjoying a wooded plot of 2,600 m2, part of which can accommodate a tent or a minivan.
I want to share it with people who don't have the opportunity to enjoy this environment on a daily basis, or for whom it constitutes a step. It also means recreating the wild camping formula which is tending to disappear.
I will be happy to meet campers, respecting everyone's freedom. See you soon.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
