Other things
We run an elaborate conservation breeding of the endangered Baudet du Poitou donkey (heaviest donkey in the world) in Rehburg.
You stay overnight in the green at the donkey pasture at the Meerbruchwiesen!
The approach to the site is on a gravel road, so the site is most suitable for bullis or small motorhomes up to 7m. (Please with own camping toilet and waste water tank).
Loud IA and cock-a-doodle-doo of the roosters should not upset them :-) Then this is the right place for one or more nights.
The place is an ideal starting point for hiking, cycling or MTB tours.
A few kilometers away is located, for example, the Steinhuder Sea largest lake in northwestern Germany with many tourist attractions.
A guided tour of the farm and conservation breeding is possible by arrangement.
Rehburg-Loccum is a town in Lower Saxony in the southeast of the district Nienburg/Weser and with a good 10,000 inhabitants the second largest town in the district.
Sights are in the near vicinity: the monastery Loccum, Dinopark, Romantik Bad Rehburg, Steinhuder Meer, ÖSSM, museum of local history, Wilhelmsturm, etc.
