Tent
A superb wooded plot in the heart of an almost untamed natural environment that we strive to preserve (Refuge LPO). You'll be able to swim in our little river below, spot a few fish and small white crayfish, other squirrels, birds, deer, foxes and wild boar... Peace and quiet with birdsong and the sound of water, and no cars around.
Warning: Access remote and rather difficult. Medium mountain.
Low Mountain, 600 m altitude. Cedar, olive, lime, cherry, fig, spruce, oak, pine, cypress, walnut...
No surrounding artificial light, no traffic... Only the sound of nature. Lots of vegetation. River with natural waterfall and natural swimming pools. Rather cold water (up to 19 degrees in summer).
Surrounding hiking trails. Natural water springs
The activities
Swimming in unspoilt natural surroundings without people (private). Hiking, near Mercantour. Horseback riding in Peille. Cheesemaking nearby (depending on opening hours). Rest and relaxation on site, as the location naturally lends itself to such activities!
Opening in April 2023 of a grocery store in Peille (15min by car, 30min by bike, 1h15 on foot for good walkers).
Other things
Difficult access and exclusively pedestrian, your vehicle will be impossible to leave in the direct vicinity of the house. Ours are not. Leave your car 900m from the house. Access by footpath (15 minutes from the parking area to the house). We'll help you if you need it, and we'll come and meet you! We have a winch with a 100m zip line to transport your equipment. Coming with us is an adventure and a unique experience. Good shoes are essential. Not too steep, but we prefer to warn you! We live here year-round, so it's not impossible! It's not a high mountain refuge either! Beware, some telephone operators don't work here.
Not recommended for low cars (or even impossible).

I'm 33 years old, I'm curious and I'm interested in everything. I live in a fairly remote and difficult to access place. I like sharing moments with people, I like exchanges, the ideas don't matter as long as they are respected. I really like cooking and showing off the beauty of the place where I live! I like good wine.
I travel a little but mainly professionally. I don't have a TV, I enjoy music, whether classical, with a guitar, a saxophone or electronic. I think that the best journey is the discovery of others and the human values that an encounter can provide beyond where we are. The environment can only enhance the journey, whether individual or filled with sharing!
I like to tinker, I renovated my house alone, in a very funny way. I have been a gardener, a salesman, a wine merchant, a store director, a manager, a farm worker, a delivery man... We will certainly find a subject to discuss unless you are mute but don't worry, it is not necessary to speak to appreciate others!
Last thing, Julia, my partner is part of the adventure as well as Inox, a very nice dog (boxer), Ginger and Babette, our two chickens. And others, more wild, which you may be lucky enough to come across...
I hope to be able to welcome you and share great moments with you! Do not hesitate!
