Welcome to the heart of Alsace, on the wine route at the foot of the Grand Ballon Vosgien. Our family will be delighted to welcome you and help you enjoy your stay in our region. Ecology is at the heart of our concerns, which is why we have eco-built our home and now want to make the most of our garden thanks to HomeCamper. We're looking forward to meeting new people and sharing some of our facilities.
Our garden is located at the bottom of our village, at the foot of a magnificent sub-Vosgian hill called the Bollenberg. This hill is known for its Mediterranean flora and fauna, thanks to its microclimate. On the other side of the village, the Vosges mountains rise up. Public lighting is cut off from 11pm to 4am every night. Our garden is fully enclosed and planted with trees. It's at the back of the house, so it's protected from traffic.
The activities
On site, campers have access to the swimming pool (3mx7m) and play and relaxation equipment for young and old (tree house, slide, hammock, board games, badminton...). However, children must use the facilities under parental supervision.
Upon reservation, Morning Yoga sessions are offered by our friend and qualified FYSM yoga teacher (prices and availability on request).
Within a 5-minute walk: a playground, basketball court and boules pitch.
For nature lovers, there are a number of hiking trails marked out by the Club Vosgien that are directly accessible from the house: whether you prefer dry hills, vineyards, forests or mountains, you'll be spoilt for choice. Our street also overlooks the Euro Vélo 5 cycle path, allowing you to discover the whole region. Two bikes are available on request.
For those with a passion for the terroir, the village is located on the wine route, where you can discover our many winegrowers, who will be delighted to show you around their vineyards and let you taste their wines.
By car, you're within easy reach of Colmar (its Little Venice and museums), Mulhouse (train city and automobile museum), Strasbourg (cathedral, European Parliament) and the leisure parks: Petit Prince (15min), Ecomusée (15min) and Europapark (1h). Closer to home, all amenities (shops, water sports center, cinema...) are available in Guebwiller.
Other things
We have 2 dogs, one small and one medium. They are very friendly, but will be kept away from the camping area on request.
As we are committed to keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible, we will also be asking our campers to come in a spirit of happy sobriety. Meticulous waste sorting is in place, and sensible water management is encouraged.
