About this campspace

We welcome you to our large garden in a rural setting surrounded by nature, just a stone's throw from the Onzain train station and the Château de Chaumont sur Loire. The property is easily accessible by bike via the "Loire à vélo" itinerary.

You'll have access to a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen and a bathroom separate from our house, as well as to the entire garden.

The number of places is limited to preserve your tranquility and that of the site. If you are 4, the garden will be reserved for you. 6 people maximum on the campsite.

This is a large, secluded plot of land, quiet and planted with trees, close to a river (the Cisse), a small wood and fields. The garden has an orchard and a vegetable patch that is starting to take shape. You'll be able to admire the sunset.
The proximity of the station and a street means that you can hear trains (especially freight trains) and cars. Otherwise, it's the roosters that will wake you up in the morning. The first shop in Onzain is 800m away on foot (Casino) or via the cycle path. (The center of Onzain is 1.4 km away on foot, easily accessible from the plot).
Our house is located on the plot, so we'll have the opportunity to bump into each other, but the plot is large enough to ensure your peace and quiet. Please bring mosquito repellent, as mosquitoes may be present in the evening, and waterproof footwear, as the grass is often wet with dew in the morning and evening.

The activities
A badminton court and ping pong table are available on site. A pétanque court is in the pipeline :). Deckchairs in the garden for napping or hammocking. Board games are also available.

Situated along the Loire cycle route, the property is ideally located for visiting the Château de Chaumont sur Loire and its Domaine d'Art et de Nature, as well as its Festival des Jardins.
Our location between Blois and Amboise gives you the chance to explore the region over two or three days, visiting the châteaux of Blois, Chambord, Chenonceau and Amboise, to name but a few.

Enjoy an evening in one of the many restaurants in the village. Alternatively, there's a guinguette on the banks of the Loire at Chaumont sur Loire, which organizes concerts and serves excellent local beers.

A summer kitchen is available with a hob, fridge and freezer, sink with hot water, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and cooking utensils. Bicycle and cell phone batteries can be easily charged. A large dining table is available outside.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
